Don’t really know who I’d add. Sentry, Venom or Adam Warlock would be cool aswell. If Marvel was too I can almost guarantee that they’d add characters that have already been established in the mcu, fox and sony.

Raven was my favorite to use in the first Injustice. Her neck grabs were great for quick stoppage, even from a distance.
DC is so much better than Marvel for me. DC always seemed more adult directed. It's like Sega design vs Nintendo/ MK vs SF design and I'm a Sega 90s kid grown up on MK.

I know that Lex & Shazam are deceased but would it be wise if they came as Free DLC in a Fighters Pack completely free of charge and they have unique dialogue with the cast? Same with Zod, Dick Grayson, Tim Drake & Beast Boy since they're all deceased. Well, maybe Beast Boy would be best suited as paid DLC as he's never been playable in the Injustice series, YET.

Smash Ultimate has BOTW Link, OOT Ganondorf, Link Between Worlds Zelda and has Sheik in the Sheikah armor from BOTW as well as Young Link and Toon Link. If Smash can have versions of characters from different continuities and timelines then Ed Boon can add characters that died during the timeline as DLC or unlockables.
Ed Boon is not a bright bulb. He lied about MK11 continuing for more than 2 years, advertise the newer game on a old game after it stopped getting support, steals peoples' money by making base game $60 and DLC as extra charge only to make a Complete Edition for the same price or cheaper and puts cool characters like Ermac's MK11 redesign to waste and make those characters die off for no reason.
Besides, Freddy Krugar in MK9, Hell Boy and the TMNT in Injustice 2, Jason, Alien, Leatherface and Predator in MKX and Terminator, Rambo and Robocop weren't even canon. The only canon guess in Injustice and MK games are Scorpion in Injustice 1, Sub-Zero and Raiden in Injustice 2 and Joker in MK11.

What an awesome character select. I don't understand why martian manhunter is never in these games though. There's a bunch of batman villains but no martian?🤦 Btw I wish all characters from the first one carried over then they just added more. More characters the better.

Idk, it’s weird that they’re willing to put in some of the Justice League, but not all of them. Though ngl, I hope they add characters from Young Justice into Injustice 3 and bring back some of the ones from the first game.

I definitely gotta play Injustice 2.
Didn’t play the first one and this one only played vs a friend, no story mode. So maybe there is a reason for this, but I would have liked to play as Nightwing, Shazam, Martian Manhunter, Beast Boy, Raven, Batwoman, Jon Kent or Superboy, Kypto & Scorpion. I guess scorpion was kinda with the subzero variant. They could have added Kung Lao as a variant of Raiden with the hat too.

Doomsday & Lobo are technically still alive so they have a chance to return and I'd *HAPPILY* accept their inclusion in Injustice 3 as they're characters from Injustice 1 who weren't playable in Injustice 2 that SHOULD come back. Looking at Lobo, Martian Manhunter, Lex Luthor, Deathstroke, Shazam, Raven & Doomsday. Shazam is deceased so maybe he should be a flashback or hallucination in the story as an excuse! Anybody agree?

Injustice 2 has Raiden and Sub-Zero from MK as DLC. MK11 has Joker as DLC. Both games are published from Netherrealm and Warner, thats why both games collab. 😉 Expect DC characters for MK1
