Weird clicking noise in my house

- I kept hearing weird noises in my house, so I set up a camera before I went to work. Not forty seconds later I hear this click noise. It freaked me the hell out. Nothing else in the video really stood out so far.
If you hear a weird noise in the middle of the night make even weirder noises to assert dominance

It could be an animal in the wall, but I'm guessing it's just the house adjusting to the temperature outside. That happens more when the house is older.

Yes I agree. My house was built in the 50s and often makes a tapping noise in the wall when it’s cold outside, or the water heater heats up.

Yesterday the clicking was in my living room and today the same clicking is in my kitchen??? We both stand at each end of the room and when we here the click it sounds as though it’s coming from the opposite side of the room. It clicks every minute. No toys left switched on or animals/insects in the walls it’s just really strange.
I too heard the same noise. Very annoying to the point that i would go investigated where the noise is coming from and never could pin point it.

Maybe some wood eating insect in question? Normally they silence up, when someone move/makes sound,but if there is many of them, they get brave and make sounds more easily. Get contacted to the pest control so they can make sure, if that is the case. 😊
i just started hearing those clicking sounds about a month ago , i only hear them at work all day and at home all night . cant really come up with an explanation for this , just last night i couldnt sleep and finally i woke up my wife and asked her if she heard the clicking sounds this time and she did . ( she didnt belive till last night ,the clickings were continously for a bit the i'd hear one every five min .

In the video I hear a noise sound from the camera and the sounds during you leave and when you come back but no extra clicking sound. There is only one clicking sound at 0:49 just before you come back. So when do you hear a clicking in the video?

Ever since I recorded EVP's in my home, I get tapping/clicking noises around the house. I get touches, like someone is gently poking me to get my attention but I also get goosebumps like sensations as well. That's just a bit of what I've experienced. If you use your video camera on your phone you can probably pick up an EVP but don't record more than five minutes at a time or it's just tedious to listen to. Also, use headphones and have the volume on all the way. My EVP's were a whisper but undoubtedly there!!! Becareful because it does open a door and even though nothing bad has happened bizarre stuff still continues to go on in my home. I could fill a book with strange events. It seems as though once you bring your awareness to it you can't turn it off!
Hi Jodie, very interesting. I have experience with EVP's, too. Or better said, i only record some video's in my rooms with the smarthphone even not longer as 5-6min. In every Video after i leave the room and close the door, sometimes very soon after 10sec. and that noises couldn't be the noises from my foodsteps, that the microphone recorded after the door was closed, sometimes after 2-3min. i hear a very quit breathing or rustling noises, but no whispering noises. I don't know exactly what or who it was. But i have foreboding that is was no evil ghost, rather my familiar ghost, that keeps an eye on me and since my first day on earth. Why i thought i have a protection ghost? Because in my life there was more than 1 to experienced really close to death and always i had very very kuck to survive that shit. Do you think that the ghost or whatever it is, that is for you noticeable could someone from deceased family members?

This same thing happens to me but I sometimes feel very uncomfortable because i know something is watching me.
I keep hearing tapping noises in an area between my desk, wall and bed and that's also close to where I put my head when I sleep.
I also feel gentle pokes.
When i fall asleep even if i dont have a blanket on and i have the ac on and im only wearing briefs I wake up drenched in sweat.
When i start to fall asleep i feel something caressing my face.
Sometimes I head loud bangs and the only way to make a bang like that is to punch my bedroom wall hard enough to break your fingers.
And the weirdest experiences are the two times I fell down my stairs and they both were like this: I'm walking to my stairs and i make it down a few steps and i trip and my face is already more than half way to slamming into a step and i black out and my dumbass mind goes to I'm dead because i feel no more fear of slamming my face into it and i feel like I'm in peace then out of no where I'm back on the step I fell from standing up straight, i was completely shocked.

There's something in my room at night aswell. Been going on over a year. Its monitoring my breathing, and when I'm totally silent, it's like a set of claws landing on the floor. It sounds big, and I'm suspecting a rat. But there's no poop or bite mark's anywhere. It's not interested in mouse traps with peanut butter or even bacon. I'm also thinking of a lizard or some reptile. Whatever it is, it's clever enough to monitor my sleep and pulse.

The same thing happened to me back in 2011 the same time my comouter was hacked along with my webcam. Actually received an email with the pictures they had took of me with my webcam so needless to say my paranoia was off the charts. I woke up around 2 am to clicking sounds that can only be described as a double click but it was like it followed me through the house. I was in my early 40s and it kept me up all night because i felt like i was living a Truman Show kind of life. Ha.Felt like big brother was watching

This just happened to me, I was lying down in my bed when I hear just two quick singular "knock knock"s coming from my plaster wall. The knocks sounded like a knock someone makes with their knuckle. Did this happen to anyone else ??

I've heard of people reporting this (and I've even seen videos where it happens exactly as u described.. 2 quick knocks like someone is using their knuckle). I always wondered if those videos were real, so what u experienced could support their legitimacy..

In my room by the window (Im on the second floor) there’s this breathing noise but it sounds like a large animal, except my neighbors don’t have dogs and mines a chihuahua.

every couple days, in the morning, i hear a sound that sounds like a light switch clicking on and off really quickly. and then that’s it for the rest of the day. not only that, but it also sounds much louder than a light switch clicking. mind you, my bedroom is the only room with a light switch that would make that sort of clicking noise, but yet, whenever the noise happens, my light switch doesn’t move at all. this is really confusing me, especially because it only happens in the morning, and only every couple days. it has never happened more than once in a day. i’m not looking for a paranormal answer, i just want to know what it is in my house that may be making this noise... and i also asked my parents about it, because maybe i’m just being an idiot. but they said they don’t know, either. oh well.

Hi, just wondering if its still happening? Its been 3 years.
Man I've been hearing these weird noises randomly throughout my day in my home and I just wanna say I do live in a townhouse but I've been hearing weird sounds and I'm logically trying to have explanations for these sounds and my father is 69 he's old school and doesn't believe in anything spiritual or anything and even when something weird happens he still just says oh it's only whatever he comes up with but tonight as I'm writing this I heard something and it didn't sound like next door and to be more clear these are moving sounds some knocking and banging but I can usually look past those and have a reasonable explanation but these other sounds are weird and even my dogs are picking it up and that's even more clear to me it's not in my head nor am I just hearing these sounds but I'm getting upset cause my father thinks I'm crazy and I don't have alot of friends so I don't have anyone really witness anything with me and they just started happening fairly recently and it's getting worse and I don't wanna have to leave me home cause I definitely do not feel safe or comfortable in my home and it's really making me upset and my mental health is getting worse I'm gonna get cameras mainly for these sounds not concerned about visuals really cause I can sense those things without that and to prove to my father I'm hearing these things and possibly get an explanation for it all I don't know man but I know I'm not fuckin crazy like everyone is making me feel and it's not a very nice feeling to be constantly shot down by my father my thermostat also was off my wall and in my hardhat and you have to click it into place and my father looked concerned when I did that cause he assumed it was magnetic or something but it wasn't then he said maybe it was you and you don't remember so hopefully when I do get cameras I can get some answers I don't even like leaving my dogs in my place anymore it's definitely not making me feel any better so hopefully this helps and I can move on from this cause I forsure as hell didn't ask for it not cool man
Those clicks that you hear are a device manually installed and is triggered by someone near by within the signal radius. The hard part is finding it unless you know how to do it. It’s made to get on people’s nerves. They can be installed in fridges, door, walls, window frames ect.

I searched 'what's the ticking in my walls' - i weirdly couldn't hear the noise at all in this video to know if it's a similar sound, but I randomly get a ticking sound in my wall exactly like an old watch 'tick tick tick' ..it comes from random walls at random times, and if I bang on the wall it doesn't stop the ticking, it just stops on its own when it feels like it!!
