I usually wait till right before our thanksgiving 4th Thursday of November or the day after thanksgiving. I like to give thanks giving it’s own holiday.
Kevin it has been so foggy here in KW, too. It was a little scary driving yesterday morning! I'm sorry about the spidermites. I find fall to be the most challenging time for me with spidermites. I've been using beneficials (I use grub grenade soil and canopy mites) as preventative and for the last 18months I have been just reapplying spring and fall. Touch wood so far this fall we are doing good. I do the exact same thing as you when I see spidermites - shove whatever I can into a prop box with some good guys because the beneficials love humidity and the bad guys do not. It also helps the plants to recover from any damage. Great video. So excited for a future polyneura chop vid! I chopped mine about three weeks ago after she gave me two new growth points and she's doing amazing.
I put up all of my Christmas stuff on Halloween, because I had the day off and we are moving the week before Christmas so I wanted to enjoy it before we do. I don’t think it’s too early, if it brings you joy ♥️🎄🎅🏼
How do you decide whether to plant your Hoyas in pon or Leca or what? I am just started a rare, expensive Hoya collection and trying to decide what medium they would be the happiest in. Some of yours were in pon, some in Leca with a resevoir. How did you decide what to put each one in and which medium do you think works best? Any helpful input from you or any commenters would be super super appreciated! Thank you! PS. Put that tree on up!!
Hi! I love your videos. They are so informative. You're plants are to die for. I just bought a Milsbo for my hoyas. I'm a new hoya mom.😁 Can you tell me what distance I should keep my hoyas from the grow lights? 💜💜
I just got a crassi splash recent and the leaves look similar to yours but I've also seen more round leaves called the same i.d. Is there different varieties?
I really do not understand why you torture your plants with under watering until they are crisp. Then propagate. Would it not be better to have less plant material and give it the proper care. Please be kind to plants.
Your “I’m loud” made me laugh so hard. We love your craziness!
Put the nova ghost on a trellis
Oh Kevin, what a nightmare! I'm so glad the beneficial mites worked.
