I’ve noticed something strange, and maybe it’s just me, but whenever the background is green, I feel more relaxed and engaged while watching than with the older videos that have a brighter brown background.
The UA-cam algorithm needs to protect this channel. How can this show immortalized? Should the words be printed and stored in a museum or is being out in the internet immortalization enough? Food for thought..
Ajay's dismissive comment "...rather than silly stories of children preparing in Kota" fizzled all my excitement for watching Varun Grover's movie which is coincidentally releasing on Netflix today. 😂
I love love love these stories you people bring!! MORE is the only word I scream at the end. The highlight has to be Ajay's Plutonium story. That's just bongos! That plutonium battery will haunt generations for centuries!!
@@amitvarma I can't even fathom what it would've been like to hear this story in real time (while you're being recorded!)😂 Btw Amit, how about some ghost stories kind of thing?? I think that'll be great 'coz I know for a fact that once you and Ajay take that matter into hands... Those stories are going to be mind blowing! So do share on what you think of it!
Ajay’s definition of “authentic” is great. I now see virtue in passivity, the virtue of truth! Great going guys! I keep waiting for Fridays to get a new episode.
On your discussion on authenticity, it reminded me of what Hans-Georg Möller discusses in a couple of videos on his channel "Carefree Wandering". He's a philosphy professor at the University of Macau and published a book on that matter, which I haven't read, but according to his videos, we often play roles according on the social situation.
AJ shah 's ww stories, nanda devi plutonium decay stories are out of this world experiences❤🎉 Amit's drowning story was a damper but the blogging story was very imaginative.. 😅🎉 Sheep in a parachute!? That's a scene of the 30s decade😅🎉
Radioisotope thermoelectric generators uses about 5 kg Plutonium 238 (not 239). The Half live is 87 years, not “1000"s. It's extremely rigid, meant to be used in spacecrafts. It's supposed to remain intact even if the craft crashes. It's pretty safe.
I can’t remember the name of the novel but there was one about a nazi sub with nuclear material landing on the US shores with all its crew suffering from various illnesses arising from uranium/plutonium poisoning. I remembered this because, in the story, the crew, which didn’t know about the nuclear material used it to keep warm. Someone please tell me the name of the book. It’s killing me that I can’t find it.
Amit, for the first time I heard about the genre of literature called “Tazkira”. I did some digging and then realized that it was to be pronounced as TAZKERAH. It is derived from ZIKR which meant narration or description. You are right as there were many titles containing this word followed by the name of the topic or event which they covered.
Sikkim, where Mt. Kanchenjunga is located, was a sovereign state at the time of the Chinese atomic weapons project. Perhaps that contributed to the project being shifted to Nanda Devi. It would make the story even more interesting, if the CIA was trying to do the project without the Monarch's knowledge.
Great fun stories. Speaking of stories, I watched a good one in Netflix this week. Chamkila - I say “watched” because it’s a great story, great music, but unfortunately not a great piece of cinema. - the redemptive turn on the first story could be - the last seen is: a young man on the Olympic podium winning first swimming medal for india. PS: the word Amit is looking for is buoy (pronounced boo-e)
Scuttling a ship in a neutral port rather than surrender also occurs in that great movie - battle of the river plate en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Battle_of_the_River_Plate_(film).
A few films have been made about this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scapa_Flow_(film); and www.imdb.com/title/tt0031968/reviews. Scapa flow find mention in many war movies

that movie is not silly. please watch
He was being sarcastic
All India Rank is a very subtle, not over the top movie, in the background of late 90s. I had seen it in theatre. It's a treat, do watch it.
I don't watch or read the IIT fiction as a genre :-) impossible for me to suspend disbelief
I did watch. Have to admit, I would rather listen to Ajay's military stories again than waste my time on silly IIT genre 🙂

That Plutonium story blew my mind. And just think that I heard it in real time, *during* the recording!
Caravan did a long form on this some years back. Thrilling read

The way Ajay sir and Amit ji weave stories out of incidents, it's amazing.Wish I could tell stories in such an interesting way to my kids.

We need an OTT platform that churns out EIE originals with these stories regularly. I love these episodes!

All wonderful stories, but please, please let the first movie be about the plutonium story!
I loved it when I was drowning.... beautiful quote
Ajay shah +world war stories are the the best damn cocktail ...the way he linked those German naval ships to that GM detector is masterclass🤌

Kill Another Day - A spine chilling dystopian thriller. Someone please send this episode to Christopher Nolan.

A request is to mention where a particular episode is shot. Some of the backgrounds are so beautiful.
It's a friend's farm. Private property. 🙂
As usual great episode
