"...and there are no winners again on _Takeshi's Castle_. General Lee looking proper miffed there! Well, as my old dad used to say - 'What are you doing back in my house?' Until next time, Keshi Heads, Sayonara!"
Actually, that statement is false. Technically, approximately 35 people have won due to the fact that in the water gun fights no one knew who shot Takeshi’s ring. On those occasions, everyone that made it to the showdown would split the money.
@@LaylaSpellwind there were 24 winners in the Water Gun version(due to the reasons described earlier), and there were 6 definitive winners, and when Tani/Lee won(later seen as a draw) he relayed his prize money to the remaining 6(more went to the moon than definitive winners) And then we have the Fighting Spirit Prize(given at least one time in every episode for being deemed the best competitor) which was also ¥1 million, there were also two rarer rewards: The Winner’s Award(another ¥1 million for being the fastest to complete the showdown) and the Final Prizes(¥1 million, holidays, camcorders, bikes, Game Boys) which one could shoot down during the Showdown, and in the 100th episode an MVP prize(¥1 million) was given, and in the final episode an Ultimate Fighting Spirit Prize(¥1 million) was given, at least 300 Fighting Spirit Prizes were given
This 'Showdown Theme' is the original theme song of original Japanese Takeshi's Castle, which also plays in opening. The theme originally longer and have end part that used in end of the show (closed with memorable 'boom' sound). But in every show, the theme plays partially in every part of each episodes
I love how in one of the episodes, after the General took over Takeshi's Castle, Takeshi himself decided to recruit demons, kaijus, aliens, ghosts, zombies, giant bugs, and all sorts of other crazy things instead of bus drivers, carpenters, priests, etc in order to take his castle back XD
Yes, the UK broadcasts were literally just Craig commenting over the original Japanese broadcasts (though they had been edited down to fit the half hour timeslot). Having said that, there are episodes (mainly in Series 1 of the UK broadcasts) where the background music has been removed.
I remembered when watching the show on the part of showdown, i believed no one will win, but there's an episode that the group actually won. Can't believe that really happened , me and my cousins just jaw dropped.
""Und da ist das Feuerwerk. Der Fürst hat wieder einmal erfolgreich seine Burg verteidigt! Der General entschuldigt sich. Er sei nicht würdig, hier zu sprechen. Doch er gelobt seine Anstrengungen zu verdoppeln und im Morgengrauen mit neuen Freiwilligen wieder zu kommen für den nächsten Sturm auf die Burg des Fürsten Takeshi!"
all leading up to this final bout, but I know one thing is certain. I get you don't have that one song where Gen. Lee's team actually wins against Takashi and his Emerald Guards.

Hahahahaha
Anthony Hobson Taking on Takeshi's Castle is like arguing with the wife, you'll never win!
And I remember him as Captain Tenille
Was that his name in the American overdubbed version _MxC_?
But you have to admit, Captain Tenille was a pretty clever name for him
More people have been on the moon than have won Takeshi's Castle.
Actually, that statement is false. Technically, approximately 35 people have won due to the fact that in the water gun fights no one knew who shot Takeshi’s ring. On those occasions, everyone that made it to the showdown would split the money.
Interesting, so more people have been to the moon than definitive winners. =D
Precisely!

This music can make you think you can do anything as long as you try!
As long as there are keshi-heads...
The general lives on.
legendary music for a legendary show

Lead us to victory General Lee!
The ladies favourite.
You mean "lead us to failure General Lee!"

Do you remember what this episode was called and or was?
@@GeneralLegoshi ua-cam.com/video/UIZmn1LAh-U/v-deo.html
Takeshi had to recruit a few random things and a TON of Ultra foes to take his castle back, with Man and Taro taking part in the defense
@@GeneralLegoshi I believe it was a Halloween Special.
@@kevinnorwood8782 sounds like awesome episode, i love special episodes over vanilla ones, like international or parent - child.
Gosh, all these memories...whenever I watched this show, I couldn't wait for the final battle, just to hear this song
And that was the magic: Because Takeshi won so often, it made it ever so sweeter, when the General actually won.
Dam, the beat dropped right in the beginning
Vibe check✅
This is some awesome 1980's montage music

Love how they used the Japanese theme for the Showdown.
They used this in the Japanese broadcasts as well.
Any music used in the UK series (apart from the theme tune) is the exact same music as the Japanese original.

At least you guys got this, the US version “MXC” never played this round or this song
Love this show! It was my childhood. With ladies man General Lee.
No winners again on Takeshi's Castle.
General Lee, what went wrong!?
A lot.
"But I promise we'll get a winner next time. Sayonara"
In the episode: *one guy is celebrating as he managed to defeat Count Takeshi*
Craig Charles: No winners again on Takeshi’s Castle
This is why I love Japanese Music
japan is the greatest country on earth
Trying to summon you back here😹
Everyone mount your dinky dodgem and prepare for battle!
It's a blood bath out there, carnage and mayhem
I remembered when watching the show on the part of showdown, i believed no one will win, but there's an episode that the group actually won. Can't believe that really happened , me and my cousins just jaw dropped.
I need a 1-hour loop of this song. Can someone please make that a reality?
This is something I would hear as a final battle of a Sentai series or Gundam
This sounds so much more upbeat at speed 1.25
Please make a 10 hour version. I LOVE this music!
It really begins at 0:20

Best tune from Takeshi's Castle.
Kind of sounds like a track from a Sonic game. At least the guitar part anyway.
same, reminds me of SA1 so much loL!
Exactly.👍
Showdown to 2020
2021 round 2
solid boss battle music
This could be in Sonic adventure XD
BlaizeTheDragon
lol, why misuse something awesome for such a shitty game?
Agitator it wasn't shitty it was alright but not great, you probably loved it as a kid like the rest of us
It reminds me of the emerald coast stage for some reason
best music ever
They keep have no winners thats why the castle always have sparks !
Awsome

This theme should be used in the final boss of an Super Mario Bros series or Super Mario World, against Bowser in his large castle at the end.
Chris Woodfield of course, plus it fits great
ATTACK!
I need Square Maze soundtrack ☹️

IKE 2021!!
No winners this time on Takeshi's Castle
I wonder what's the music name with chiptune. It's used in some games.
Fun fact if you get the original copy you could make 200k
Hayato tani is a winner
Do y'all remember klaus from the international special
Klaus is a legend
Is this music cheesy or what?
How Lame, Really!
