@@samsamsam3 yeah but the repair is going to cost 2x or 3x more compared to the labor cost for dell and maybe apple will suggest to replace the whole fucking laptop motherboard. Definitely agree with resolution idea. One major thing I like macbook is because they put 'moderate' resolution display with fantastic color accuracy and brightness. I like how microsoft is getting with it but wish all the other manufactures also would follow it. I want integer scale(2X) of 720p or slight bit above.

For comput task mainly benefiting from stronger cores and not much of graphics Ryzen 9 beats the Core i7 by a huge margin in a lot of tasks. If aly you need is a laptop for daily use neither is good. As these laptop usually tend to be gaming laptops their everyday battery life is poor. Also look into the fact that the 2070 one might have a higher refresh rate as it comes with a more powerful GPU. ALERT! Please runway from this laptop! PROS: + Yes it has great build quality, + performance (for brief seconds you can have the crazy turbo mode) + amazing keyboard CONS: - unreal bad wifi card! The killer driver is so bad that Dell could not find solution for 8 years!! and somehow still uses this wifi card. Support will always tell you to update everything 234623476234 times and even with everything up-to-date, the wifi constantly drop randomly. Other Dell products with intel wifi cards work perfectly. Actually most of the users decided to manually replace the killer wifi with an intel one to stop wasting time with dell support "guys". - First weeks the wifi works fine and then, my phone speed test shows 200Mbs and my 2000$ dell shows 15Mbs. It is a known issue reported to Dell for 8 years and still no fix. - it heats up too much. It is expected that thin performance laptops heats up, but this heats up too much.. 100 degrees C is "normal". With a cooling base with 5 fans, you can work with Chrome (6tabs open) and some VNC or SSH programs at around 70-80 degrees. - Keyboard gets too hot to be used. - Dell Software issue. Sometimes the brightness control does not work. Windows 10 recognise that you are pressing the keys to up/down the brightness but the screen simply keeps it unchanged. - Screen color issues. Sometimes the screen color changes and you start seeing some "god-like" auras on people when playing video. Company bought 2x of these xps13 9300 (2020) and both have the same issues (no is not company wifi issue since all the others laptops/pcs works perfect). To be honest, I have Dell latitude also and non-enterprise Asus, and for Asus wins in my opinion. Dell Software has too many issues. Specs: Intel® Core™ i7-1065G7 Intel® Iris® Plus Grafic card 13,4-Zoll-InfinityEdge-Display, FHD+ (1.920 x 1.200) Killer AX1650 (2x2) based on Intel WiFi 6 + Bluetooth 5.0

Isn't the 1080p module less powerful and shouldn't we go with the xps 15?
If you want the smallest version the 13, if you want more powerful than the 15
I wish one day MacBook will looks like this.
honestly, the absence of a 2k display option is the only complaint I have. This laptop is almost perfect. It could benefit from some AMD love though
S*its all over the 13" MacBook Pro in every way, although it is starting to get very, very expensive.
It still beats the Macbook in price though
L3thal Studios Well. You get free work applications on the MacBooks. On the Dell you gotta choose between the free Google and the very expensive Microsoft Office.
One question Apple has Garageband music software installed and Dell doesn’t, do you suggest any software to be downloaded to Dell computer, I really appreciate it, thanks 🙏
If you want something free, Audacity. If you want something a lot better for basically free (by donation) Reaper.
Sadly the webcam looks 10x better, compared to anything on a MacBook.
Your complaint is the price? Lol how about Macbook Pro 😅
RpM_Evan The base. You would need the $1300 version for a fair comparison
RpM_Evan It’s $1049 on their website
Hope the next 2 in 1 is like this, mainly the replaceble ssd
Let me know when they start packing AMD and I will care.
Agreed. We need more ryzen in laptops
Wait for the next 6 years
Does the keyboard of your dell xps 13 get really hot to the touch? I just recently bought my and my keyboard gets really hot after about 20 minutes of use.
What are you using it for primarily?
Should have been running a Ryzen 4900U. That would have given it a significant upgrade and made it worth the money in 2020. Just cant see myself paying this much for those old ineficient Intel chips.
what's the best laptop for both gaming and video editing?
base xps 13 vs base 2020 mbp please! especially for 1080p video editing & render times
For accountants, no dedicated Page up/down keys means Not Interested
You can't afford it anyway lol
Is that really a problem when we hold the laptop vertically the screen is loose? or is dell xps 13 2020 just like that. Received mine today and i am a bit confused. Can someone please help me out. Thank you
Yes because there is no magnets on the screen
Same coil whine as usual? Is this model finally silent, or...?
Why you cant use ist as a Gaming Laptop? And wahts about the 17 Inch Model with 2060 Graphics
Camera is 720p? Why MacBook is criticised for that and Dell not? It has no more than 4k but 4k. As 1920x1080 is FullHD as 1920x1200 is. 3840x2160 and 3840x2400 is both 4K...
I don’t know what I keep on watching these videos, none of these laptops come to Latam UnU
Can you make an egpu video with the Dell XPS 13 and a NVIDIA graphics card.?
nice review :D
is the laptop as crappy as all dell keyboards have been? I feel like having less travel would make it even worse. Also that it come with bloatware that you can't install like other years?
What's the weight of this Pc when packaged?
Would love to have this for a Hackintosh
Does this fan get loud when having multiple tabs and apps open?
I have a dell XPS 13 and I've never hade the fans ramp up when using chrome by itself, they will get louder if you have multiple apps running or if you try to play games on it but even at full speed there really not that loud. hope this helps :)
Great if you like loud fan noises
Can it has MacBook sleep mode. Like the battery never drops
Why don’t they give an option for 1440p display? Much less taxing on battery and a good option for this size.
Cheaper, that’s why
wow cool, vinnie from jersey shore reviews tech!
Could you test this Dell as Hackintosh and compare to MacBook air or pro!?
Please review Asus expertbook B9 .It is less than 1000g and has 24hr battery life with bezeless display
Love from pakistan.... after watching your video, I am going to post a blog post in my tech blog...As according to your smart review
Can you compare it with the new macbook pro 13?
It's not Killer Specs, its the actual manufacturer Killer.🤣🤣
I know it was not a pun, and if it was........lame
That MicroCenter video needs to be color corrected Max, completely throws off the video quality.
The carbon fiber protects against fingerprints? I've heard much more that the XPS is a fingerprint magnet.
It does collect fingerprints. But it also wipes clean super easily. I have a late 2018 9370 with the back carbon fiber deck. It still looks great.
Have you had a stable undervolt on the xps 9300
hows the 15 for video editing? are there any laptops good for 6k raw video editing under 2200?
No, of course not
Better than Macbook Pro
RAM should also be upgradeable
Get the Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 8 with 14.0" UHD(3840x2160) IPS Glare 500nits Non-Touch Narrow HDR and you will be amazed.
One more question how does it handle video editing
Got XPS 15?
You're the best dude.
Is the ram user upgradable?
ALERT! Please runway from this laptop!
PROS:
+ Yes it has great build quality,
+ performance (for brief seconds you can have the crazy turbo mode)
+ amazing keyboard
CONS:
- unreal bad wifi card!
Specs:
Intel® Core™ i7-1065G7
Intel® Iris® Plus Grafic card
13,4-Zoll-InfinityEdge-Display, FHD+ (1.920 x 1.200)
Killer AX1650 (2x2) based on Intel WiFi 6 + Bluetooth 5.0
Thanks for the info, was really considering this laptop
Plz suggest the best laptop..
Please do a comparison with the MacBook Pro!
72hr sale going on right now in the outlet store - just FYI
I think dell lowered the price to $1078
Can you make a dell XPS vs surface laptop 3 vid?!?
