What if my “new” iPhone is used and doesn’t have the “hello” screen when I turn it on, but has apps and a generic Home Screen already? I have transferred my sim card into the newer phone but don’t want to “erase” or “reset” until I know it won’t mess with my info! 🤷♀️😅

With Boost Mobile you do need to be running iOS 15.2 or above so if I buy a used iPhone I might have to update it first

you need to always factory reset a used iphone so you can activate it using your own Apple ID. factory reset will not do anything to your SIM card
