- There are a couple of different reset options on your iPhone. There is an option to reset only certain settings such as your network or privacy settings. Also there is a setting to reset your iPhone back to it's factory default settings. In this video, I will show you how to do both in less than 1 minute.

This is a great video, thank you. I have a question or two for you. I have a iPhone 11 Pro Max and I need to erase everything and restore to factory settings. I plan on backing up everything to the cloud before I do this but I Do Not Know How to do a factory reset where you restore your backup from the cloud. Can you do a video on this please?
I do know when I done the last factory reset I watched a video on how to change my password first because this is crucial NOT TO SIGN OUT of all my accounts or your locked out of your phone and this worked well. I don’t need to brick my phone over a reset this is why I made sure I thoroughly understood what I needed to do before I did it.
Sir, if you could demonstrate this in a video I would be so grateful. I was literally shaking when doing this reset before because I seen so many get locked out of their phones trying to do this reset. I don’t have a computer or any other devices to help with this like I see some use. I have just my phone and that’s it. Thank you for your consideration, sincerely.

So if you have a two iphones that have the same exact information, will factory reseting one of them affect the other iphones information?
Good question and the answer is no, if you erase one, you'll still have all your data on the other 👍

Hello I have a question to talk about so when you tap delete all thing is it talking about the people on your contacts?
What’s the best option if you want to keep the phone and “some” apps, but don’t really need the photos, messages, etc.

If I erase all my data on that specific phone as it was brand new would there be still some data left or hidden data or it would erase everything you have on that phone?
It erases everything if you choose erase all content and settings.

Thank you and subscribed as well!! One thing to ask i want to reset my iphone for tranferring my android data to it so i have to reset all the settings or there is some other way without losing my iphone data
If you want to trsnsfer your data from android to iphone automatically then you are going to have to erase all of your data on the iphone, and if you do not want to erase all your data then you are gonna have to transfer all your data from your android to your iphone manually (manually transferring is a long process i can't explain it here you can find everything on the apple support site on the internet)
If I have my iCloud backed up will I have my phone number saved to?
Your phone number is assigned to your SIM card, not your phone. So all the info on your iPhone that you selected to save will be in your backup.
What if you forget your password and have a number set that you dont remember?

If you do a full reset on your phone, you will lose all data. but if you have a backup you can restore the backup when you go through the setup process.

Yes this will not affect your SIM card

If you click reset all setting will it reset just your settings or will it reset contacts password etc?
If you choose erase all content and settings it will wipe your phone completely. This is a factory reset so the phone will then look like it does when you first take it out of the box.

Before reseting the phone, make sure to log out of his iCloud account on the phone, and then reset it and you'll be good to go

Yes you will be able to sign back in you just won't have any of the data, it will all be wiped.

Only if you reset settings, if you restore the phone back to factory, everything will be gone.

Well if I don't know my iCloud password but I know my password to my phone and I reset my phone would I have an activation lock or no it will be gone
In that case, you would probably need to create a new apple id when setting the phone up again.

After i click erase and then click continue, i get stuck in “Uploading Data to iCloud” and theres a “skip backup” button under the uploading line but am afraid to click on skip backup and lose all the stuff i saved on backup
You can manually backup your files via settings or a lot of times it will do that automatically over night (when enabled). If you did that beforehand you can skip the backup during factory reset

@@OnlyiPhones Got it!! I’ll try to migrate my WhatsApp data from my old android to the IPhone I’m currently using. I’ll migrate that data after the factory reset and after transferring the WhatsApp data I’ll login with my iCloud account to restore all the data. Do you think that will work? (I don’t have WhatsApp data on my iPhone, only in the android, therefore I’m guessing no data will be overwrited after the iCloud backup)

You can't really by pass Apple ID. You need to create a new one if you cannot access your old one.

No, only the old phone you erase will be erased. The new phone will keep all the data you have one it, unless you erase that phone too.
