BERTHING OPERATION OF HUGE LNG CARRIER AND FSRU

The berthing operation between huge LNG Carrier and FSRU, this operation is very critical due to several aspects involved. There is no error margin during this berthing and mooring operation. This operation done by experienced and trained personnel.
LNG included to the hazardous cargoes, therefore special precaution and handling to be implemented.

Nice video sir can you please explain how fsru operates I mean are they permanently moored or they go on voyage also?

Mostly, FSRU is permanently moored to the Gas Offloading Platform, Tower Yoke Mooring, Single Buoy Mooring or terminal , depend into it's contract. Mostly FSRU having long years contract with buyer, due to for mooring and unmooring of FSRU is costly.
But, previously I heard that there is FSRU in Turkey which also go on voyage.

Thanks you for your appreciation, surely I will make FSRU video which will contain of how is the LNG loading, how to maintaining tank pressure and regassification proses. But it is under progress on making 3D animation, since im using not only actual video capturing. Hope that you enjoy the video .
