Thanks for appreciating. The engine part may follow but its a lot broader as LNG Ships have different propulsion e.g. DFDE/TFDE propulsion, Steam Turbine (Typical first Design), DF SSD plant (Dual Fuel Slow Speed Diesel
engine) and COGES
(Combined Gas turbine Electric and Steam turbine). A better subject matter expert will have to discuss it perhaps in the future.

Thanks for the LNG videos. Is it possible to make a video about LNG cargo machinery, LNG valves and pipes, safety valves, basic cargo operations in the CCR, basic explanation and presentation of pipelines and valves on the screen in CCR or some theoretical explanations of cargo operations by cargo checklist?
It can be divided into several educational videos.
It would be very nice with added voice in English or text explanations :)

Tks so much. Yes, I am or was a Chief officer on Gas Tanker and many other Tanker type. As for the engine side, I discussed thru simulation based materials. However, a Chief Engr. presents or collaborate with me for that Dept. with whatever you may want to know. Most cases it will be the typical type dual fuel/diesel electric and perhaps the steam turbine system. Post a suggestion and lets see what we can prepare along the pipeline

@@ShipAhoyVlogs Thank you for feedback Chief. I will embark soon on LNG vessel soon for the first time. It is a really big opportunity for my career. All the experience i have till now is 3 voyages on Bulk Carrier vessels with 2 stroke diesel engine Man b&w. The company that gives me the opportunity to embark on LNG , has 1 vessel Moss type with steam turbine , 4 with DFDE as you said above and 11 new vessels with 2 main engines and 4 Generator engines.
The 2 main engines have 1 propeller each engine and they are 2 Stroke and burn gas. They called WinGD. All i want is a video with parts and machineries , at least the most important ones by adding a little explanation about their job. For example i heard about cargo compressors , or GCU gas combustion unit . Unfortunately i can't find enough informations on internet :( that makes me anxious because i don't like to embark without any knowledge. Thanks for your time , i wish you can do something about it. I will appreciate it. Best regards.

@@fishnchill13 It may take sometime to create a presentation/lecture/discussion. This channel was created 2016 but I didn't take it seriously. The videos you are seeing except for first 3 old videos were just recently uploaded. GCU or even compressors will be done separately as this subject matters are lengthily. And that my main scope is basically all type of ships, tankers, bulkers, even heavy lift multi purpose, except cruise ship. Nice channel you have by the way. Never had the luxury of fishing, good for you.

The animation used was a pre recorded video from an existing SWF(Shock Wave File) animation created by STATOIL some years ago. The animation is only a video. I can re create exactly the same but I don't have the time for now. And I don't have the SWF file either and also Flash Player is no longer supported since Jan 2020. Keep posted and who knows I might create an interactive animation one of these days. Tks for patronizing this channel.
