Are you still active in this project? I would like to print these prosthetic's and I need to know where to go from here. I have couple printers, including Bambu X1C and the prints I get from this printer is amazing. I wanted to print these hands for a long time, but I didn't trust my other printers and they are very slow. Since purchasing the X1C I can see myself printing these "hands"! Also, where exactly would I go to help individuals - is there a database so I can contact the person or they can contact me? Sofar I wasn't able to get any response from my emails and or they do not exist at all and emails would just come back! Thank you for the videos and I wish you all the best!
But there are no shaft given to join the finger end and finger phalanx? Why didn't you gave a circular shaft instead? why a rectangular slot? also there are no mentions in the assembly regarding how to connect the finger end and the finger phalanx
Hi, When I click on th link, i do not see a downloads option. Can you please help me getting a downloadable design so that i can do some modification/changes.. really appreciate your work. thx
Just being honest. I'd wear one, no problem. And, as the price of todays top end 3D printers begins to drop, arms/hands like these will get even better & more importantly; they'll become more accessible/available to amputees who need or want them. So don't stop doing what you do. :)
Addulla Baobied Yes you can download now from Fusion 360 using the links in the description. Use the download "Fusion 360 Archive" button. Then open the archive file in your own copy of Fusion360. Sorry for lack of instructions/tutorial. I am working on that now. When you open the file in Fusion 360, go to the "Modify" menu, then choose "Change Parameters". In the table there are "Favorites" parameters. For each Favorites parameter change the value in the "Expression" column to match the size you want to make. The comments column describes the measurement. Close that parameters table. The model will be resized. Under the "Browser" navigate to "Bodies". Right click on each body and choose "save to STL". Sorry that is a tedious process for approximately 35 bodies. This will be easier when I have a Thinigverse Customizer. That should be done by the new year.
Anas, Sorry for lack of tutorial video. I keep starting one and not finishing the edits. hopefully you can stick with it till then. Feel free to e-mail me any questions.
@@JacquinBuchanan even if you could send the unfinished one for the people who need guidness by mail or something untill you could finish the edited one
Hi Myra. Some of the screws are printed some are metal. Which ones are you thinking of? the designs are now on thingiverse with full Assembly instructions. That may help answer your question.
could you do an assembly tutorial and how do you scale the model?

thx
I am really impressed with this design. Thank you Sir.
The hand looks wonderful, the question how do you manage to hold the body while you straighten your elbow?
There is a latch mechanism that can be used to hold and object while the elbow is moved freely.
Jacquin, wonderful design. I'm printing an adult sized thermoformed arm now. I would like to discuss the design more with you.
Glad your making one. Love to discuss any ideas or questions, email me at jack@onemonkclapping.com
Superb ! Impressed by the overall looks & the hand grips. Well done to all involved.
Thank you. A wonderful complement coming from you.
