They taste great when you actually get it from a white castle. I had some while I was in vegas and they were crispy and delicious. I came home and looked up if there was frozen versions of it but i didn't think they would be good. This kinda just reaffirms it.
Our daughter used to live about 35 minutes away from us. She has moved to a city two hours away, which is sad, but they do have a White Castle there, and we don't have one in our town. Jus' about every time we visit, we stop by the White Castle on our way back home.

The chicken sliders are exactly what I thought they'd be-- bad. The hamburger sliders, however, blew my expectations out of the water and I grab them whenever I see boxes of 4.
I genuinely enjoy the frozen white castle cheese burgers, especially when intoxicated. They remind me of the mini cheeseburgers I got from school lunch growing up. Glad I saw this or I probably would have bought them to try
As soon as I saw the burnt cheese and the overgrown McDonald's chicken nugget, I realized you went easy on this one. I don't know if I would even want to eat that at 2am on New Year's.

The chicken sandwhich craze was 3 years ago Larry. I doubt anyone's waiting in line for hours or getting shot over a chicken sandwich in 2023.
I often see these at grocery outlet, so you know they're not selling. They're still expensive enough I won't buy them as they look like crap. Thanks for taking another one for us, now I know my feelings were correct. It was one thing years ago when i saw the white castle frozen burgers at the outlet for a couple bucks, but crossing that $4.00 line I won't waste the money. As for the gross looking, and now confirmed bad chicken sliders, you wiped any interest out in them for me.

Good stuff , I used to go to WC quite often , that stopped a couple of years ago . The menu has changed way too much . After they stopped offering the jalapeno cheese slider it was over . The last time I was there the menu was mostly chicken or fish , I love chicken and fish but WC
hasn't got a clue . What happened to the original slider that made it famous ? The frozen one's that you reviewed are even worse , good stuff indeed ! Don't give up . Keep on doing what you do , God Bless .

Good hot peppers will improve these sandwiches. I use Mancini Longhots myself, which are fried cayenne peppers. They're definitely a flavor enhancer, but they are SUPER hot so you have to be careful.
I found this video funny right out of the gate. Honestly, I love when you disapprove of something this much. You don't hold back, and it's great. You have eaten a lot of terrible foods for us, and so we know something is not worth eating when you give a review like this. This is a true WAWE video. You subject yourself to something so bad just so we don't have to. My favorite part is in the heating directions: "From thawed: 1. Fully thaw." Assuming they are thawed, we're going to need you to thaw them again.
In another comment I suggested to do a "what are we eating" video on the Bush's chili starter in a can and other chili packets. I enjoyed this video and I have to say you have more courage than I because I'd probably not try these. Stay well!

The original frozen cheeseburgers are a god tier frozen dinner.
I tried these a few months ago and it sucked but I will admit the chicken patty was higher quality than most other frozen chicken products. I feel like this should've had oven only instructions so the chicken patty would have a chance to get crispy because that was the main issue with the sandwich

I personally toast bread/bun when im going to make any kind of sandwich. The only time i eat a piece of bread/bun untoasted is when i eat it by itself

Larry, thanks for being the sacrificial lamb for this abomination of a chicken sandwich. As much as I enjoy the occasional white castle burger, their chicken sliders suck at the actual restaurant, so your experience was exactly what I expected for a frozen product of the same.

Come on now, the obvious solution to improve the sandwich was to boil it in water on the stove for half an hour. Instant fish stew sandwich

When I do White Castle out of the box I place them in a foil lined colander, put the colander in a pot filled with about 2 inches of water. I then steam them on medium low for about 30 40 minutes or until they are piping hot to the touch. That produces a result the same as ordering them in the store. With that said, I was in Orlando on the way to Tampa awhile back and stopped into the newly opened WC. Among the crave box my friend and I got we ordered a couple chicken ones to try. They were awful.
Just discovered Great Value beanless chili. I don't like beans so I'm always looking for a really good beanless can of chili for chili cheese dogs. Any chance you have or haven't done a taste test review of various beanless chilis, including the Great Value brand?
I'm not fond of the consistency of beans, red kidney beans in chili. When I make chili I blend the beans with their juice in the blender until a smooth paste & then put it in the chili.

My daughter loves these. I cook the pattie in the air fryer for 20 mins, discard the cheese, microwave the bun for 15 seconds, add mayo and she scarfs em right down. She's 12 so her tastes are a bit more refined than a toddler. She doesn't eat them a lot but I do get her a box of these each month. Larry just has some sort of weird vendetta against White Castle. For whatever reason.
I almost got these for lunch yesterday. I work at Walmart and was looking for something different for lunch. Glad I decided to get the new Tyson spicy chicken instead. They were awesome. I know now not to get the White Castle ones.

100%👍, idk why people pay what they do for any of the chain joints chicken sandwiches??? So easy and cheaper to make at home! And way better, I remember when I priced it out at restaurant and it was $2.53 cents with fries, Mac n cheese and a pickle lol. At home it's $1.03 a chicken sandwich on a burger roll and fries.. idk Lol. A chicken breast will give 4-6 sandwiches..🤯

We the people, appreciate the sacrifice you made for eating these! I don’t think sauce could save these
i always find it best to jsut compeltely ignore white castle's directions , even for their regular sliders. what i do : take the meat and cheese out of the bun seperate them if possible then put JUST the meat in a toaster oven , bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. when the meat is done reassemble the sandwich , wrap with paper towel , then put in the micro wave for 15-30 seconds (may nee to flip the burger to get the bottom bread cooked better). Done.
nuking it as long as they tell you to , the bread and meat both always come out like rubber.
sooo yeah i learned a long time ago (when i was a kid) just throw their instructions out the window.

I'm from the deep south (Mississippi) and we don't have white castle, we have Krystal. I grew up on Krystal burgers and they're still my favorite burgers. I tried white castle once when I went up north to Ohio on business and they are no where as good. Plus Krystal has a good breakfast with eggs, bacon and sausage and grits and biscuits. It's damned good. I wouldn't waste my money on anything white castle.
at 1:40 the box (at the bottom) says "fully cooked."
at 3:55 the directions say heat to a minimum of 165ºF-implying they must be _raw,_ otherwise, you could eat them straight out of the refrigerator; they're fully cooked, right? One has to wonder.

The frozen White Castle burgers in the supermarket are not as good as what you can get at the restaurant. Their filet O Fish sliders are really good, even with their bad tarter sauce. But the chicken rings with their excellent honey mustard sauce is addictive!
Never seen or been to White Castle but it seem a lot like Krystal’s to me. I’m more of a Whataburger kind of fast food burger guy but Krystal’s is pretty decent when on the road traveling.
Popeyes is hands down the best fast food chicken joint in the biz. At least for people in the south who like seasoned food. I can’t stand that bland tasting food that I need a bunch of sauces to flavor up.
I bought these the other day but my son ate them. Serves him right. I love the frozen burgers, we don't have white castle on the west side.
They did come out relatively first. They've been out for decades. I don't eat fast food anymore but I had a huge white castle phase and these were good when bought directly from the restaurant. Definitely don't eat em anymore though lol
I love these things. Great late night snacks. I usually get the ones without cheese and put my own swiss/white cheddar slices and a dab of my favorite BBQ sauce.
Larry, Southerners make the best chicken period. Up North, folks fight over the fast food chicken when we should learn to prepare chicken well ourselves. I don't frequent any fast food, I make my own food. I get a kick out of your imitations! I normally just throw anything from White Castle directly into the toilet just to stay ahead of the game.

Larry, I have not seen these at the grocer, but , I do know some fellers that think the frozen burger sliders are better than the ones at the castle, there are many castle places here, I prefer fresh ones at the castle, their chix rings & sliders are good also, I have never had decent chix reheated or nuked.
