"Caravan" as played in the film "Chocolat" + tablature

The song "Caravan" was composed by Juan Tizol & Duke Ellington, and first performed in 1936. I made this tablature by listening to the recording that was used in the film "Chocolat." Here's the recording: • 18. Caravan (Someone told me that you hear two guitars playing or one guitar playing twice, on two tracks, plus some additional guitar playing added - so just one guitar playing this can't quite match the sound as you hear it in the recording for the film. P.S. I have made some guitar flash cards for learning the notes on the guitar, that get great reviews on the Amazon and Strings by Mail websites. Hi Phil, watched the film again the other day, and realised how good this song sounded at a lower tempo. Nice to find that someone has bothered to produce an accurate tab for this. Good job sir.

so many people have used the tablature. I’m not a guitar teacher, and I don’t usually do this kind
of thing. (It’s not easy.) :-)

This project started when someone who bought my guitar flash cards mentioned that she was dying to learn the song, as it's played in the movie "Chocolat," and she had looked everywhere trying to find the arrangement, without success. I know the song, but didn't remember it being used in the movie. So I found the music video on UA-cam, and it's such nice playing of the song, I thought I would have a go at making tablature for it. Making guitar arrangements isn't my thing, usually, but I'm glad I tried doing it with this one. If you would like the tablature for it, just give me your e-mail address and I'll e-mail it to you. (A friend of mine says he'll take my hand-written tablature and soon put it into a more "presentable" form.)Philip

If you giv me your real e-mail address, I can e-mail you the tablature. It's hand-written, and can show you the notes to play, but not the timing. My video tries to give you the timing.
