Lacuna Coil has an amazing sound that has changed over their many years starting back in the 90s. Their Old music spans from an early 2000s goth rock sound to a pop ish rock sound in the mid 2000s to their new harder sound. They have been excellent since their start. I highly recommend any of their live videos from the 119 show in London it is amazing.
I agree the way I like to put it is that they adapt to the era of music they are in starting out Goth Rock to a Rock sound like Evanescence, most don't know but they had that sound before them but they made it big. The record company probably shelled out to promote "Evanescence" only reason that sound designates to that band. But you know what that's a good thing because they can't adapt to the times and has to stay in 1 lane unlike Lacuna Coil that is a much harder goth metal band but can still go back and play their older songs without a hitch 🤘🤘🤘

I'm still on a high for getting to see them in concert last Monday I uploaded 4 videos of that night 3 full songs and Cristina greeting the crowd. Of course it's not a professional sound.
