The original Inside Out 2 was dark which they changed it, kinda similar here but they had depression and love, the audience found it too dark and so it was scrapped and changed for the one we know and love.
What would be interesting would be if this time , the 5 og emotions were the one to get trapped and lost their 'traits' , leaving the 4 emotions from IO2 to be the heros this time

That's not the real villain but the real villain is "Gloom" but sadly, it didn't appear in inside out 1 or 2 because they didn't want to add bad guys in the movie so they make it wholesome

Because in inside out 1, there's a scene when the console turns black and the three emotions cannot do anything, indicating that Riley is in depression. Greed is more acceptable to me, because maybe in the third movie, Riley as an adult is now a boss of a company and she's making a huge amount of money, this is where it introduces the villain or the antagonist Greed, which he want to take over Riley mind.
