Hey Eric, just wanted to thank you for all the great content over the years. Im still coming back to these older; still relevant videos, time and time again, and learn something new every time! Youre an inspiration.
As usual ... i LOVE it!!! Your explanations are clear and concise, they make sense, you give tons of coaching/postural cues, and you give us a clear physical demo. Thank you!
A great and brief routine. On that last one, the Spiderman, particularly the part with the overhead reach, I happened to have once seen a move where the starting position is similar, but the arm that goes up and around is the one on the front-leg side, while the other hand goes to the far side of that front knee and kind of pulls inwards. I like combining that one with this one so that, with right leg forward you first lift the left arm and twist leftward with your right arm inside your right knee -- as here -- but then you raise your right arm and twist rightward with left hand on the right side of the right knee (pulling leftward). (The down hand, then, is always to the far side of the forward knee.) Whichever leg is forward, you get a twist in both directions -- to the inside and the outside.
Thanks, I'll definitely give the hip flexor stretch a try. Ever since switching to low bar, wider stance squats my hip flexors have been giving me a little trouble. How do you feel about doing these and other mobility drills both before and after training? I have been doing so and feel it helps with recovery and maintaining flexibility. Even on my upper body days I'll throw in some lower body dynamic movements.
at the 0:45 second mark he explains that the hip is in extension while the knee is (super) far into flexion so it applying a stretch to both the quads and iliopsoas which often perform synergistically
One of the best out there that can actually explain how and why to do these. Thanks Coach

I think i'll try integrating these drills into my warm up, thanks Eric.

Nice 3 cpmbo guys....Good work.
Seems like the anterior hip opener he is not extending his hip so not really addressing the ilio psoas more quads?

more must try mobility drills please :D
damn, can't get my heels on the ground for the yoga pushup :/
Time to work on my hamstrings and calfs lol
Good One👍🏼
good stuff thanks
Talk about reinventing the wheel! They are just basic yoga moves.
So...
Not one single word about how to breath during each movement....
Quit being negative. Im sure the stretches will work fine without perfect breathing.
Im sorry, I was not trying to be negative. just an observation. I should have worded my comment differently.
