@@crystaltanart I suppose a painting I am proud of is something I am aiming for each time I paint, of course it does not always happen. However, I always produce a good one when I least expect it to happen. X
@@lydialee2023 What an amazing lesson there. Sometimes the harder and more you want something, the further it gets away from you. Do you read or watch Mark Manson's videos? He talks alot of this paradox philosophies.

Lovely colour combinations and a stunning loose composition! You have inspired me to paint more flowers! First I need to finish the rainbow elephant I am painting! 😆 I normally paint flowers but got inspired to paint a rainbow elephant while practicing my Dutch on Duolingo! 😂

I love this and I'm going to give it a try this afternoon. Crystal, what colors did you mix to get that dark green? I keep missing it.
I have a Shadow green (perelyne green in most other brands) which is a dark green, and other times I mix sap green with indigo OR sap green with dioxine purple.
