- Notre Dame and Tennessee played game 1 of the Knoxville Super Regional in the 2022 College Baseball Season. Super Regionals are a best of 3 series.

We had a kid in our district that threw 95mph in high school. I remember everyone talking about how he was going to shut us out. He threw flat and down the middle. Once we all got an at bat in we roped his ass. Beat them 12-2 scored 12 runs in the first 3 innings on him and they put in a kid who threw 70 with junk and he K’d us the rest of the jught

ND is getting their tails kicked right now during game 2, but I LOVE how they gave it to UT like UT has given it to everyone else all season. They were cocky and confident, and made sure UT knew about it. Turn about is fair play though, because UT is giving it right back right now. Love baseball!

I understand it was a bad call but you can’t say “that’s terrible that’s f***ing terrible” and don’t expect to get thrown out of a game. I’m surprised he would say that so early in the game and then was surprised when got tossed. Refs are bad yes but you can only control your attitude and how you handle the rest of the game. And that check swing call at the end was the right call even tho everyone was on the ump about it

I knew when Mississippi State struggled with Notre Dame in Supers last year that this was going to be a tough Super for Tennessee. If Tennessee can come back and take series they’ll be a better team in CWS.

cool to put in the clip of Peyton manning in there, I actually met him after one of my baseball games here in Colorado. he was at the baseball complex because one of his kids had a baseball game with him, I got a picture with him and he's super nice.
You can tell alot about a program by how they conduct themselves on the field. Umpires/Officials shouldn't have to put up with that garbage, I guarantee that they received multiple warnings. The players actions in the AB, where he was kicked out, mimics the Coaches behavior.
Tennessee baseball is creating a hostile environment for youth umpires in the state. It’s really sad. Kids look up to these guys and they’re setting awful examples along with their coach.

The coach of Tennessee has an ego and arrogance issue and that's saying it lightly. I enjoy watching any college team play as for Tennessee they are extremely talented and no disputing that. However, a coach can destroy the image of a team from a spectator standpoint. They need to throw the coach out every time he opens his mouth because I have yet to see him to speak to the officials with any amount of respect.

No. It is par for the course for us Ole Miss fans. This year is different. We were awful all year and was the last team in the tourney. So we’ve already surpassed any expectations. USM might whip us this weekend but who said we belong anyways. UT about to go on a tear. Poor ND had to deal with State last year and they won the title. Might be the same thing this year. But they have a really good coach.

I was honestly a fan of Tennessee for a while until this game. Watching their fans boo strikes right down the middle and clear outs, while throwing trash on the field made me lose all respect for their team and fan base. It’s interesting how quickly a seemingly fun-loving and respectful team and fan base can turn incredibly nasty as soon as they get down in a situation they expect to win. Hopefully Notre Dame can pull this one off. I’m all for the bat flips and high energy, but the way Tennessee as a whole, especially the fans behaved this game, rubbed me the wrong way.

I've focused on the catcher who consistently throws high right on a steal attempt to second. The other day, after 5-6 games they finally get one. This game, throw it high right into the outfield.
I've seen pitching and fielding issues but their bats saved them.
I honestly think if TN loses it will be the little things that beat them. They do all the flashy things well, but the little things it seems they struggle with
