Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.
If you’re looking for high quality sports content, then this is the channel for you! I’ve covered Baseball (NCAA, LLWS, Professional), Football (NCAA, NFL), Softball (NCAA), Basketball (NBA, NCAA), Hockey (NHL), and much more!
The best part of my work as a UA-camr is being able to provide coverage of sports that may not receive as much attention as they should to the large audience I have built over the years. Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other UA-camrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

The respect of these Japanese young men is refreshing.
OO YAA They place the ball on the mount after every inning. Bowing to the umpires as a sign of respect is the best. Very discipline team.
I’m rootin for em
Respect, or strategy to gain a slight advantage by appealing to the ump?
@@vnice1580 Go read a little bit about Japanese culture if you think that's done to get brownie points.
@@vnice1580 clearly u know nothing about Asian culture and how you always respect anyone in any profession whose a professional. Y'all swear it's the worst thing ever to just simply show respect and decency
Best game of the tourney so far. Japans pitcher was lights out.
These were probably the 2 best teams in the international bracket! Go Japan🎉🎉🎉
best 2 in the whole tournament
Taiwan deserves a shout
There's a team called Hawaii that is been married to championship before.... Don't forget about them 😂😂😂😂
@@ElMister809-RD Bro I said in the International Bracket, Hawaii Is on he USA Bracket
@@FuzzieBear3 Yeah Taiwan is also elite
dang both these teams are miles better then any of the US teams
Its all that tiktok and the agenda america 🇺🇸 pushes
Idk mannn, Texas was looking solid, but we’ll see
@@Niikolas_Viibeshawaii and florida are also US states..
Texas hitting and Hawaii pitching are the best
Idk about mile better… these two teams have so much talent for sure but Texas & Hawaii are some dogs too.
Watching these kids play is so much more entertaining than watching MLB. They play their hearts out every game.
Amen... no half assed jogging to 1st base
I love LL baseball but you're comparison is silly. Watch this years, or any, big league World Series and tell me those guys don't play their hearts out. Also, during the season these kids play two or three games a week. Try playing 14 or 15 in a row for several months, travel half of them to different parts of the country, stay in hotels, without having to keep yourself in check. It's not apples to oranges, it's more like apples to the moon.
@JTA1961 You realize those guys have to play upwards of 162 games a season not including postseason. They are also playing essentially every day with no significant break between games along with travel.
Running as hard as you can all the time is just the perfect way to get injured
@@Toast2005 growing up in Japan that is all I know... however every year that goes by (63) I'm reminded of the truth you just stated
You like watching little boys play more than adults 👀👀👀
Japan's players are awesome. They dont showboat. Btw I know the difference between celebrating and showboating. They listen to their coaches. And they are very respectful. Good for them!
As I said before this is one of the most competitive LLWS I’ve seen ! The international championship game will be absolute cinema
Yeah this LLWS is great. Elite teams are Chinese Taipei, Venezuela, Japan, Florida, Texas.. right below these are Aruba, Mexico, Nevada, and Hawaii … teams like Canada, Czech Republic, Puerto Rico and New Hampshire and illinois stand no chance at winning 😂
@@brianmeen2158ain’t no way you have Florida and Texas above Mexico
And Chinese Taipei
Two awesome teams, this will be the international championship for sure and I think one of these teams winning it all!
I live in Japan, right across from a baseball field where junior high teams practice and have games. Many of the players have played in little league. The dedication to continually practice is very impressive, and the level of skill the kids often show is wonderful. Some players out of high school go directly into the Japan major league draft. The annual high school tournament is really a big thing with the whole country watching and pulling for their respective teams. Bench clearing brawls are very rare if ever, ha!
Do the junior high kids still have to play with the "rubber " ball ? They did when I lived there...&...so...were very eager to play little league with a "real" ball
Gee, good question, I haven't looked that closely at the ball, or if I did I don't remember. I think it is a hard rubber coated ball, probably to save on the cost of having to use frequent replacements. Metal bats are still standard. I have a story about youth baseball here. I grew up by a park in California and played ball myself, so I enjoy watching the kids practice here and in games, and I can hear the activity from my window. One coach that often had his team practicing and having games here, was being really language aggressive towards his players if he didn't like their performance, yelling at them in a loud voice and using some rather disrespectful words. I got fed up and went out there to confront him, saying that there are people living around there if he hadn't noticed, and the way he was loudly expressing himself was being rather disturbing, and he needed to quiet it down. I didn't say anything pertaining to the benefit or lack of with his teaching method towards his players. He mumbled a rather gruff acknowledgement to my complaint. Those players were very young, and obviously some are more skilled than others, and mistakes are going to happen, to coach like that was really being over the top. The next day as I was watching the kids before leaving for work, another coach that had been there the previous day and observed my speaking with the loudmouth coach, came up to me and thanked me for saying something to the guy. I don't know why he wouldn't have said something himself, but he said that it was currently a bit of a problem with the youth baseball, that is some of the coaches being overly aggressive towards the kids, and there was some concern happening about it, with parents I suppose. This was a few years ago. So, I guess the bottom line is that amongst the coaches, there is generally a high expectation of how well the kids can learn to play, and indeed the ambitious training can give very good if not remarkable results, but at the same time, not all the kids are similarly gifted towards learning the sport, so the teachers also need to be sensitive to the intellects of these young guys wanting to play. Knowing that some of that type coaching might still be going on, it would detract somewhat for my respect for youth baseball here. An old saying in Japan, "A hard teacher is a good teacher", but there is a limit to that, especially with kids.
@@f9qo often how you were brought up reflects on how you act later, even if you know / knew it wasn't the best. Breaking the cycle sometimes takes outside input.
@@f9qo martial arts is one area where strict discipline was expected as life may depend upon it... I got hit by instructor in kendo more than opponent... also being roundeye didn't help as preferential treatment wasn't gonna fly atleast not with this guy. BUT baseball...
Dude, this was an AWESOME game. Both teams filled with talent. So fun to watch
I know they were pretty routine fly balls but the Venezuelan left fielder was tracing his outs almost perfectly and with uttermost confidence
Constantly impressed by the awareness and game sense of some of these kids across all teams
1:54 i love team japans respect
Man these teams are good. A couple of things stood out to me. That Venezuela catcher is fantastic defensively. Next, the play they made in the second with runners at second and third and a dropped third strike. The awareness of that catcher to pump and not throw to first is tremendous, and for the players to be ready in in position for it. It was flawlessly executed. That is GREAT coaching. I coached at the high school level for a while and tried to practice that play time and again, and they'd often not get it right in games. Sometimes, sure, but for these 11 and 12 year olds to execute like that is very impressive.
It is on my bucket list to go to a LLWS with my boy. Love the talent, the atmosphere. It just looks like it would be a lot of fun to attend.
Well said & yes it does
En pequeñas Ligas, no se puede repetir de manera seguida al mismo lanzador, y además tienen límites de pitcheos. Fue un juego espectacular, dónde cualquiera de los 2 tenía méritos para ganar.
Wheels with the W again. Man you put together the most smooth and complete highlights every time. Perfect as usual🤙.
That's a true heavyweight tilt. Fantastic young teams.
umpire NEEDS to do a better job monitoring the batter's box. some of these kids are literally standing on the plate
I noticed the same thing.
The batters box is much closer to home plate than the pros
Sometimes the pitcher and catcher don't mind the plate crowding and they take advantage with pitch location. You move the batter back if it affects the pitcher or they complain. Keep in mind that that foot position is legal to hit the pitch once the pitch is on the way.
0:22 Maybe start with not calling pitches a foot outside a strike.
@@gordonbgraham that would probably help
Great game, impressed with the pitching from both teams, and their defensive fundamentals.
JAPAN BIG LEAGUE AND LIL LEAGUE JUST PERFECT
I think I’m rooting for Japan to win it all just out of respect for these kids.
If you didn't see this live omg great game. Definitely one of the best LL games ever
Still so cool that Japan puts the ball on the mound for the other team.
Bro, 5th inning with 2 outs you gotta SEND HIM !
Agreed
@@keisukeyoshida2839 I rewatched it and I think he would’ve been thrown out at home but that Japanese pitcher is so good, you almost have to send him and hope Japan makes a bad throw.
@@Bingo-iu2mmYes but there was a really big mistake, if you see the moment of the pitch the second base runner didn't apply the "hit and run" there were 2 outs, what are you doing standing on the second base? You need to be at least halfway between third and second base. That detail was the difference.
Greetings from Venezuela 🇻🇪
@@La8-l8r Yes, I did see that. I always thought in little league the baserunner has to wait for the batter to make contact with the ball ? I could be wrong …

No cabe duda que en la defensiva son buenos los japoneses
Que nivel tan grande juegan estas Selecciones es impresionante, para mi las dos mejores, Venezuela Japón.

Good effort from my country Venezuela 🇻🇪
I CALLED THIS ONE! I knew Japan was a nasty team. Awesome game.
You called them getting the winning run on a ball that beaned a kid who was literally standing on home plate? That kid should have been out. Japan is cheap.
@@oColt45o A win is a win. You mentioned ONE play. The fact is that Japan would not have been one play away if they weren't nasty. Venezuela is an awesome team, but I didn't buy into the opinion that they were unbeatable- I thought Japan could beat them...and they did.
@@kelleywhitehurst3180 The ONE pkay I mentioned was the most pivotal play of the game and the kid should have been out, the Jap kids can't touch that Ven kid throwing 80. @kelleywhitehurst3180
No chance Venezuela has all 12 year olds. Some of those kids gotta be at least 14

Like the MLB, they need to insert into the game a manager's ability to dispute using a video replay, some of those Ump's brutal strike calls.
Atleast it was on Both sides... outside corner... once Japan pitcher realized it, he sure took advantage of it.
@@JTA1961 I still believe it's an injustice for the hitters on both sides. That's what annoys me TBH. These kids are throwing the equivalent of 95 to 101mph so they don't really need help from the ump.
If you're wondering what the Japanese pitcher is screaming every time he strikes the opponent out, it's "yoshaaaaaaa!! (よっしゃーーー!!)" 😆
Thank you Wheels!🤙🏼💪🏼👍🏼
The leadoff batter for Japan in the 5th inning should have been called out, not awarded first base. He was outside of the batters box with his front foot, putting half his body over the plate, and never made a move to attempt to get out of the way. It's a shame he was the winning run.
Talk about "taking one for the team"...
8:04 bro is literally stepping on home plate lol
I was thinking the same thing, how is that not an out. Especially, when they swing and step on home plate. 😂 8:01
I said the exact same thing! His front foot is literally behind the corner of the plate!
Also he was the winning run.
Contacting the pitch with a foot touching the plate is only illegal in NCAA and FED. It is legal in OBR and LL as long as the foot is not completely outside the box when contact is made. That batter's heel was touching the line which makes him legal.
Fun fact: When baseball was introduced to Japan in the late 1800s, if you flinched before getting hit by a pitch, you didn’t get to go to first, because you lacked the courage to take a pitch without flinching.
How are they allowing these kids to stand outside of the box and over the plate, then give them a base when they get hit by a strike? I guess the international teams have been doing it forever, so why put a stop to it now?
Esos niños japoneses lansan muy bien siempre dentro de la zona por eso ponchan mucho y mantienen la bola bajita muy diferente al béisbol Américano
いい投げっぷり
Great game but I really wanted Venezuela to pull through! Them kids are legit! Literally not one of our US teams are beating one of these foreign teams like Venezuela or Japan. There just vastly advanced in the game compared to American teams.
This were the 2 best teams
🇻🇪Cheers to Japan's victory🇯🇵
Brutal move by Venezuela not to send the kid home in the 5th with 2 outs, you gotta make the right fielder make a play there
Wheeels with the jump scare at the end
So glad they took 13 years olders out so we can see sum pitching and defense highlighted
5:55 that bounce is insane lmfao
When the pitcher went to tag the guy stealing home he tagged the guy with his glove ; but the ball was in his other hand.
Why are they letting the players stand practically on the plate? The pitchers should be calling that out
Glad the Japanese won.
No Wheels. Thank you.
bien por el catcher de Venezuela en la 5ta. mandando al pitcher en lugar de 2da.
日本の甲子園はもっと熱い戦いをしています
Seeing several teams that are out of the batters box with elbows hanging over the center of the plate. How are they not seeing and calling it?
Is everyone ignoring the fact that young man hung his shoulder over the plate to to get hit in the elbow?
Kanta Iwashita is HIM 🙇🏻♂️
You da man wheels!
1:36 That's wholesome
ベネズエラの子供達が既に自分より体格良くて泣ける
8:02 there is no way his foot is in the batters box... talented team but they over crowd the plate..
Agree, I posted the same thing right above you 😂 how is the ump letting this go? I don’t know the rule book of LL but this can’t be legal. His left foot is out the inside of the box almost on the plate. A batter can crowd the plate but this is to much. Reason to have a batters box.
Other than than both teams awesome!
Great job! But holy crap that baserunning blunder could have cost you guys. Be heads up!
Bottom of 4th Japanese runner going home was tagged with the glove with the ball in pitchers hand.
Sad that one of these teams will automatically get 3rd because of how the bracket is set up. We all know these are the two best teams by a mile..
5:19 talk about crowding the plate, wowUPDATE: 8:01 stand on the plate and then leans into a pitch to get hit and then has the nerve to celebrate HAHA
They told him to go out there & take one for the team...& he did.
ここから未来の選手が生まれると思うと楽しみ過ぎる
When ur the best in ur whole country of course ur gonna be better then regions also Japan always been cold in llws
Most of these Venezuelan kids practice 12 hours a day don’t go to school so of course there better than a lot of these kids because they put 100 percent of there time into this sport it’s just sad that there not allowed to be kids cuz this is there only way of escaping poverty

all those venezuelan players are students
That yepes kid has heat but like negative control
Muy bien Japón!
Blessing in disguise for Venezuela. Now they got the experience of facing Japan’s ace for 6 innings and playing in a pressure packed game. Now they get to play and swing their bats the rest of the week too instead of sitting around.
5.20 almost standing on the plate
That umps zone was widened the the left batters box.

ESPN interviewed a father whose son played in California n is currently on the Japan roster. He said, in America, the kids have fun. In Japan, sounded like a job. Several years ago, another player played in California n was on the Japanese team that won the championship. I recall the mom saying something similar: players in America play because it’s fun. In Japan it’s total dedication n not as much fun. Not exact quote but my understanding

Yes with home plate is calling every pitch a strike 6-8” off the plate the was bad I’m sorry no matter what team or country is playing
