- I leave Aqaba and Jordan after a beautiful farewell with my friends of the Hakaia Community, one the best hostels I ever stayed at. I head to the port with my friend Baha, and I catch the ferry going to Nuweiba in Egypt. The arrival in Nuweiba is very weird, first, the Egyptian police does not want to let me leave the port with my bike, and then they kick me out of the port. After riding in Nuweiba at 3 o'clock in the morning, I find a place to camp for 2 hours, and the next day I start my way to Dahab. Half way to Dahab, the police stops me at a checkpoint, they refuse to let me continue, and they put my bike in a pickup all the way to Dahab.

Visit iraq and you can see the generousity i visted many provinces in iraq and everything is free i tried to spend some money and every time they said no you are guest we gave you money not opposite

If it happens and you go to Egypt, it's very important to have a camera on you, it could save your life, and a tour guide is something you should have going to Egypt you know you don't wanna go into the wrong place and bad things can happen, and also to avoid scams, not trying to scare you out of it but just trying to ensure your safety if you ever went there, good luck🍀

You chose a great place to stay in Dahab! I highly recommend Oasis Fighting Kangaroo Guesthouse. I've stayed there for months on end. It's very clean, quiet at night, safe and secure, centrally located, has a nice shared kitchen, is well maintained, and the staff are excellent...💙
And finally in Egypt ❤.. I hope you continue your journey safely and carry a good memory with you ..
That is the way in Egypt. The moment a tourist does something non-touristy it will attract a lot of attention from authorities. If you stay on the beach at 5 star hotels no one will bother you.
Yeah. I must say I'm not the guy who hang my hat on people's stories of visiting country A.,B or C....but the descriptions I heard about Egypt took some of my enthusiasm to go there one day away. Seems the authorities are paranoid.

@@KinoYves anyone to travel lol. It wasn’t like this before the revolution, I used to be able to film as I wished and do whatever I want, now it is very strict unfortunately, and especially in sinai because of the terrorists there. I hope you aren’t mad at us, and I hope it gets better soon
@@balclava4937 yeah, hopefully it will get better at some point. I can't be mad at you, or at random Egyptians, because you are not personally responsible for what is going on in your country, and I met a lot of really nice people in Egypt, but it is true that many things are really not going the right way in Egypt, especially when it comes to harassment in Giza or in Luxor, and also harassment towards women. And of course, the difficulties regarding filming.
@@KinoYves the things with women are the only thing that have gotten better recently. Even now I will always accompany any female relatives of mine when they are going to walk. It is a very stupid thing in rural society, were women are treated quite unfairly, however the harassment is just something else. I really do hope it keeps getting better. The filming, i think it’s just hopeless for the near future. There are good and bad things in any country i guess.

Only a few years ago there was heavy ISIS activity in the Sinai peninsula. Wikipedia says they are still somewhat active.
Yes, they are still active, but in Northern Sinai, Southern Sinai is well protected by the Egyptian army.
