Yeah man it honestly looks INCREDIBLE!!!! I’m so relieved!!! But now soooo damn excited! I got teary eyed too man, it was TOO GOOD, the child version of elphaba got me
Great video! So... I've watched this trailer more times than I care to admit... and I think Kristin Chenoweth is voicing the very first dialogue here; "Are people born wicked..." Ariana is definitely giving a nod to Kristin in her performance, and her voice does sound similar, but I really think the voice in the beginning is Chenoweth. What do you think?
Oh I think they will. Clearly this team is all about passion for the product, and as fans of the musical themselves, I'd bet anything they would give us the OGs that inspired them.
Elphaba’s story is very much a metaphor for racism and how that is used as a political tool. Casting a dark skinned black woman in the role makes that metaphor so much more real. The image of young Elphaba as a scared little black girl is heartbreaking. I’m so glad that Jon Chu isn’t shying away from the implications of this story but embracing them.
It's very reassuring that I'm not the only one getting teary-eyed at the trailer alone, can't imagine what the movie's gonna do to me 😂
I will be weeping!!
Me too 😂… it’s wonderful
Ive cried every single time watching this trailer lol
RIGHT
Yeah I teared up as well, this is a masterpiece.
I feel you here. Exact same reaction here.
Great reaction! I knew when you said it you’d end up crying. 😊 Also - well done for booking your first pro gig! Snaps! 👏
Thanks so much!!

I agree!! Someone said there was a cameo and that was one of the theories I saw!! So I hope Indina makes a cameo as well.

nope , its AG for sure.
Remember the film is split, just like the show. They are both coming out on Thanksgiving one this year and part next year.
AND I WILL BE SEATED FOR BOTH
