Joy from Inside Out is the same way, sure she pushed Sadness aside but she learned her lesson in the end. Plus im happy Merida is in here because she doesn't deserve any hate either along with The Gargoyles, I find them funny too.💕💕💕💕
What about Alice from Alice in Wonderland? Walt Disney himself disliked Alice’s lack of heart or more specifically, the fact there isn’t much to her. Heck he disowned the whole movie feeling that it failed at the box office because it lacked heart. Even though it’s regarded as one of Disneys best today, it’s hard to believe that there was a time when the movie was shunned by the public on its initial release
How can anyone hate Olaf!?! He’s one of the sweetest and funniest characters. Yes he’s childlike but he really appeals to many people. Olaf is one of the main reasons why I love Frozen. I really don’t know how can anyone hate on Olaf.
Without Snow White, the world wouldn't have animated movies as they are now. Walt Disney took many risks and gambles to bring her movie together. Much respect to Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
I appreciate you mentioning Cinderella while talking about Snow White. In the past, I liked her for her kindness, but during a recent rewatch, I realized that she didn't mention the prince when she asked to go to the ball. Like Snow White, she's rewarded for her kindness and perseverance with what happened to be a prince.
How can anyone hate any of these characters?? Especially Merida, Ariel, Snow White😢😢, Merida is a girl of our generation, she wants to be her own person, and wants to live her own life by her own terms. How can she receive Hate!!!!???
Snow White escaped her stepmother who was trying to murder her. And in the middle of that traumatic experience, came up with a plan to clean house for the dwarfs in the hopes they’d let her stay with them. She needed a safe place to live, but she didn’t want to force them to protect her. She’s probably one of the smartest princesses, given her situation. The hate is FAR from deserved.
Ariel and Snow White DO NOT deserve the hate! They’re both my favorite Disney princess and their movies were some of my childhood favorites! And as a bonus reason for them, the actors who play them in the live action remakes don’t deserve the hate either! Yes, Rachel Zelger thought that Snow White was weird and scary, but the original story itself was already messed up too (Snow White was only 7 and was being stalked by a 18 year old!), and Rachel’s still pretty young, but she grew into fame by West Side Story, which was absolutely phenomenal! And Halle Bailey was beautiful as Ariel! She really let her heart out on the songs, especially the reprise of “Part of Your World”! And the fact she was the first to audition and was immediately chosen makes it even more amazing!
Wow! I didn't know that Haille Bailey was immediately chosen after her first audition! Good for her! :) Ariel is my favorite Disney Princess! Fun fact, I actually met Jodi Benson this year at MoMoCon and took a picture with her. I even went to The Little Mermaid panel and a fan asked her what other actress she loved playing as Ariel. She actually happily replied, "Hallie Bailey." It was purely amazing! EEP! :)
why would disney hire her if she hate's the 1930's movie and thinks that the prince stalks her, when it's snow white's stepmother who stalks her own stepdaughter?
I really have no problem with Hugo, Victor and Laverne from Hunchback Of Notre Dame as they are my favorite Disney sidekicks characters, I don't understand why people are hating those gargoyles I mean they should know it's part of Disney right every characters need sidekicks since it did came out during the Renaissance era.
This list is unbelievable! How can there be certain Disney characters that are hated?? Like, we had a childhood of these characters, and yet they get some hate? Why?? Olaf, Ariel, Snow White, and Woody, how and why?? McQueen and Zazu, understandable but at least, the former had character development and learned humility and the latter meant well. Donald, his short-temper are just part of his character, that just what makes him an icon and who he is.
I feel like the whole point of being able to relate to these characters is because they aren’t perfect so it doesn’t make any sense to hate them for having negative qualities.
I never hated Olaf. I actually always thought he was one of the cutest characters ever created and he just wanted to make us feel better anytime we may be in any kind of bad situation. Lucky for him, I actually like warm hugs.
Who the heck hates Lightning McQueen? His whole character is that he's a smug upstart who gets humbled big time into being a good person. I find way more people hate Mater's over the top hillbilly stereotype antics. People were so sick of Mater that after 2 , they had to reduce him down to what was essentially a cameo in 3.
Lightning McQueen isn't the only Cars character who doesn’t deserve hate. So is Mater. I feel the hate for him has grown old and tiresome at this point.
The fact that you put those gargoyles in this list makes me appreciate them even more. At least they have better comedy than Valentino from that terrible 100th anniversary movie.
How could you hate Snow White? She is not someone to hate. She's actually a strong person. Despite being treated like trash by the queen she not only stayed true to herself was kind and sweet to everyone and is a survivor.
I don't hate Alma but some people say she's worse than Coco's daughter which is insane to me. She's way worse than Alma, she just got less screen time.
I don't get the hate towards Snow White. Yeah, she "has to be saved", but people seem to forget that she's a young girl. Who wouldn't want to help a 14 year old find her place in the world, after what she went through? I re-watched the movie recently, and to me, it also seemed like Prince Florian and her already knew each other (or at least knew who the other was). It's subtly hinted at in the scene, before he says hello to her. Maybe that's just me. Either way: I really like Snow White, she's a great character.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the fact that both Lightning McQueen and Zazu had major respect here. Yet, I feel like Mater and Timon and Pumbaa maybe more so Timon deserved the spot here. I always see such unfair hate for them more so.
Because they're out of place in the movie's dark setting and they are the main source of the movie's tonal problems. Jovial singing about a crush while the city is burning and suffering from genocide is just bad writing. The gargoyles dragged the movie down.
True Donold may have a temper problem. But he’s a great and cool duck, a responsible uncle to his nephews, a great friend to Mickey, Goofy, lover to Daisy, who deserves to be beloved and appreciated for what he brings out the best in us.
Ok, Merida is amazing and Olaf is so cute. I think when it comes to Snow White, I love her, but the cutesy voice I think is a little over the top. Same with Donald Duck, it's the voice.
Donald Duck is the most beloved Disney character in Sweden. ❤❤❤ It’s even a Christmas tradition to watch him(and some other Disney character) on TV on Christmas Eve…Sweden stands still for an hour. 😅❤️
Exactly, they exaggerate, Cinderella is already a great princess and strong for me, I would not have the same strength as her to endure the difficulties that she endured in her home, but she inspires me
Cinderella’s strength is her mental endurance of all the abuse she had to put up with from childhood through adulthood from her stepfamily and not let it break her or cause her to become as full of hate and cynicism as her step mother.
It's honestly ridiculous. I think Cinderella is a wonderful character. She's a surprisingly strong character because despite having to endure the abuse from her horrible stepmother and stepsisters (though one of them fortunately changed for the better), Cinderella was strong enough to be able to keep a positive outlook on life. Having the support system of her animal friends definitely seemed to help. TOO many people, unfortunately, don't have the strength to endure that.
Cinderella has loads of mental strength, but I guarantee that the physical strength is there, too. She took down those giant drapes, cleaned them, and put them back up.
@@elephantbluepeter Exactly.... Ariel is one of my favorite princess because her curiosity and fascination of the human world. Her collection of many artifacts and other things was fascinating.
Crazy how Ariel gets accused of "abandoning" her family, yet no one judges Hercules for doing the exact same thing. For someone who betrayed him only hours before (not that I don't love Meg, I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy). People get married and move away from their families every day, that's not something that warrants hatred
I understand why people tend to hate Snow White. Ever since Disney's Renaissance, Disney princesses had became much more well-written, with strong personalities and fierce independance. But we have to remember when Snow White's movie was made. And even so, we have to see that she embodies one of the greatest aspects of a princess: optimism. The poor girl suffers a tremendous abuse from her stepmother and yet she still hopes for a better life. It was her kindness and benevolence that allowed her to go through her problems. The huntsman refusing to kill her, the forest critters bringing her to the dwarves' cottage, she cleaning and cooking for the dwarves in exchange for a place to stay... even Grumpy was not indiferent to her. It's not her fault the Evil Queen took advantage of her kindness (like any villain would do) to poison her. And about the cliché of a story hers is... like it was said in the video, it is all about her overcoming her struggles and the prince (who only appears at the beginning and at the end) is just her reward.
Through Snow White, i realized people underrestimated the extent of kindness. Yes a lot of people r kind, but rare r THAT kind like Snow White. Snow White is an example of finding hope and dreams despite abuses, and itz miraculous how she managed to still stay THAT kind and positive knowing her circumstances. Yes she isnt the smartest princess but hey she is only 14
Yeah i ah have to disagree with Snow White, Ariel and Donald Duck i mean there are all classic characters that we’ve grown up with, but with Donald’s temper i can’t believe people hate that about him, that’s literally the character and the essence of Donald himself so i don’t get why people would have a problem with that along with Snow White and Ariel too. Like i heard people say they don’t like Ariel cause for the rest of the movie she wants to chase a man, supposedly NOT TRUE, her dream is not just to fall in love with a prince but her dream is to go to the surface world and explore what is up there, i think people have misunderstood that far too long, she just dosen’t do it because of man okay and i am sad to see that people don’t get that. With Snow White it’s like the same thing with Sleeping Beauty but different i think Snow White stands for kindness and having a pure heart and i don’t understand why people again have a problem with her and the story of that as well, people might say she has lost her mind a bit but she Hadsn’t so i don’t get where this comes from. Also i don’t understand why isn’t Sleeping Beauty on this list she does absolutely nothing in the film she just sleeps so why isn’t she on this list. I can see where you are coming from with Olaf though he can be a bit annoying sometimes but he does grow on you, when i first saw frozen i am glad why is this annoying snowman talking and when i saw the film it kinda grew on me and how can possible hate Olaf when he his voiced by Josh Gad himself i mean c’mon.
Snow white walked so all future Disney princess could run. Honestly I love a lot of these characters for their flaws it gives them room to grow. All people are different just like characters, and character growth is signs of great writing. ╮( ̄ヮ ̄)╭
@@SnazzyjazzBroI mean, many human beings are miserable and want everyone to be miserable with them. ("Misery loves company" and all that ) Kinda makes sense for them to hate a character that represents the exact opposite emotion of what they want to spread out into the world. 😅
@@SnazzyjazzBro I refuse to believe that. She was just a misguided emotion. I never hated her, I mean sure I thought she was a bit of an a$$hole in the first film, but still.
Of course the irony being that people are hating on the new snow white live action movie before it even comes out, because it has apparently been changed to not have Snow as simpering as the original, geez they just can't win!
⚠️ Spoiler alert! ⚠️ I can’t believe there are people who hate Ariel, I absolutely love her It’s especially hard to hate her with that beautiful singing voice of hers 💛 Somehow, I had a feeling that Snow White would be number one Now , I’m not saying that I hate her too, but I can see why others might because her character (the whole damsel in distress thing) is a bit outdated
BTW I definitely agree that Merida is underrated. People are so ignorant as to proclaim that she "never realizes her mistake" even though she clearly DOES!
As kids, we relate to Ariel's longing for her dreams and admire her. As we get older, and most of all once we become parents, we feel for King Triton just trying tp keep his daughter alive. At all costs. He definitley went too far, but we all need parents as protective (and necisarily stern) as him. I can thankfully say, I was bleessed with parents with instincs like his.
With Snow White, it depends what Era you were raised. When I was little, I looked up to Snow White. She has dark hair and brown eyes. I loved the story, too. It's not about finding Prince Charming. Though other women like Rachel Zegler were little when I was a teenager. When things changed for Disney Princess. Snow White, unfortunately, gets not enough kudos, unlike other princesses. Just to mention, she is one of the first Disney princesses.
I feel like we need more people like Snow White in this world. She is just too pure and sweet. I feel like it’s the same problem people have with characters like Superman.

How can anyone hate any of these characters?? Especially Merida, Ariel, Snow White😢😢, Merida is a girl of our generation, she wants to be her own person, and wants to live her own life by her own terms. How can she receive Hate!!!!???
Lots of people (men) hate teenage girls and any story that doesn't cater to/center men
Brave is no one of my favorite movies but I don't hate Merida and I think she don't deserve that hate
Zazu and Ariel are legit my favourites. All through my childhood and now as an adult. Glad to see them get some justice here.
Ariel is my favorite Disney Princess!
Fun fact, I actually met Jodi Benson this year at MoMoCon and took a picture with her.
I even went to The Little Mermaid panel and a fan asked her what other actress she loved playing as Ariel.
She actually happily replied,
"Hallie Bailey."
It was purely amazing! EEP! :)
why would disney hire her if she hate's the 1930's movie and thinks that the prince stalks her, when it's snow white's stepmother who stalks her own stepdaughter?
@@viviennemorgan7217Because Rachel Zegler can sing and she needs the paycheck!
@@beethovensfidelio she can't sing and is a terrible singer and she already got a paycheck from playing roles in movies.
@@viviennemorgan7217 Clearly you’ve never seen “West Side Story”! 😂
I agree I love them all,I even relate to them and see bits of myself in them.
Pretty without gargoyles Quasimodo would have gone down dark path with gruesome ending
What?! Donald Duck is hated?! He’s actually iconic. Sure he’s hot-tempterd, selfish and childish. But that doesn’t mean he deserves to be hated.
Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty should be on this list. She is the most underrated Disney princess of all time from a very underrated movie
Maleficent seems to be the only thing that became iconic from that movie and I don't really get why.
This is a top 10 so I reckon, with how many Disney characters there are, there may be loads more they didn’t know about.
Amen!!!!
Totally 100% agree for Princess Aurora.
I love that movie. I rank it amongst my favorites and same goes for Aurora.
I love Snow White, Ariel and Donald! 💖
I never hated Olaf. I actually always thought he was one of the cutest characters ever created and he just wanted to make us feel better anytime we may be in any kind of bad situation. Lucky for him, I actually like warm hugs.
Woody is the most relatable pixar character in my opinion!
Disney Pixar
Cinderella and Aurora should be on this list, they both get similar flak that Snow White and Ariel get.
Who the heck hates Lightning McQueen?
His whole character is that he's a smug upstart who gets humbled big time into being a good person. I find way more people hate Mater's over the top hillbilly stereotype antics.
People were so sick of Mater that after 2 , they had to reduce him down to what was essentially a cameo in 3.
i love this car so much.
NGL.
The line "Frollo's nose is long and he wears a truss" is hilarious.
I agree with all of these picks
But no honorable mentions?
We should put Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Beast, and Phoebus on the list
Lightning McQueen isn't the only Cars character who doesn’t deserve hate. So is Mater. I feel the hate for him has grown old and tiresome at this point.
0:13 you will be remembered, James Earl Jones ❤
Sisu from Raya and the Last Dragon should be on this list as well. She's a loveable and adorable character and gave her life to help the others out.
Do Ppl hate her? Ik ppl hate Awkwafina for her voice but she plays really funny characters! And Sisu was like the heart of the movie
@@SweetAngel_Angela Yeah, she sure was.
I agree greatly. In my book, those who dislike her just have poor taste.
And she has a gorgeous design too. I don’t give a crap how many people think she’s a unicorn; just let her be pretty for goodness sakes!
I agree! Raya doesn’t get much love as it deserves. And Sisu just brings a surprising sense of energy and heart to the proceedings.
These characters are hated? THESE!? Yes some of them do some questionable things but for most of them, it’s called character growth.
I think the only reason Zazu isn't completely hated is because he's voiced by the awesome Rowan Atkinson
Also Zazu was more irritating in the live action remake.
@@Starwarsfanboy0928 Didn't see it. Don't need to see it. It can go screw itself.
Just goes to show you there's more to Rowan Atkinson than stand-up comedy and Mr Bean.
The fact that you put those gargoyles in this list makes me appreciate them even more. At least they have better comedy than Valentino from that terrible 100th anniversary movie.
Not to mention they actually did stuff in this movie other than just be funny

How could you hate Snow White? She is not someone to hate. She's actually a strong person. Despite being treated like trash by the queen she not only stayed true to herself was kind and sweet to everyone and is a survivor.
I was expecting Asha and Valentino to be on this list, but Abuela Alma deserves to be loved since she learned from her mistakes.
I know, and she doesn't deserve all the hate
At least Wish was a slight improvement from Strange World

Thank you for putting the gargoyles on this list it’s about time they get their moment to shine
I hear people hate Jac and gus in cinderella,I find them the second best thing in the movie the first being the song bib ibi boppbi di boo
How can anyone hate Olaf? My nieces adore him.
My mom loves him. I don't get the hate either.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the fact that both Lightning McQueen and Zazu had major respect here.
Yet, I feel like Mater and Timon and Pumbaa maybe more so Timon deserved the spot here.
I always see such unfair hate for them more so.
Why would anyone hate these gargoyles? These three gave Quasimoto the courage he needed to step out of his fears and acted like real friends to him.
Because they're out of place in the movie's dark setting and they are the main source of the movie's tonal problems. Jovial singing about a crush while the city is burning and suffering from genocide is just bad writing. The gargoyles dragged the movie down.
I don't hate Lightning McQueen or Woody.
Neither do I

They don't deserve any hate 😢❤
People hate Donal Duck? Really? I thought people love him, he’s freaking hilarious
True Donold may have a temper problem. But he’s a great and cool duck, a responsible uncle to his nephews, a great friend to Mickey, Goofy, lover to Daisy, who deserves to be beloved and appreciated for what he brings out the best in us.
IKR!!!! 😳😟 I could say the same thing about Olaf!!!
Let's be clear, though. There's nothing sacred about him.
Ok, Merida is amazing and Olaf is so cute. I think when it comes to Snow White, I love her, but the cutesy voice I think is a little over the top. Same with Donald Duck, it's the voice.
WOODY ? Everybody loves that guy. He made a lot of mistakes, but he's a good toy.
Donald Duck is the most beloved Disney character in Sweden. ❤❤❤ It’s even a Christmas tradition to watch him(and some other Disney character) on TV on Christmas Eve…Sweden stands still for an hour. 😅❤️
Ja, precis!
I pretty much like all of those characters on this list and I don’t think I ever hated any of them here
I dont understand why Zazu is on the list hes just looking out of mustafi and simba
Cinderella, she's hated for not being physically strong like modern Disney princesses
Okay, seriously, how stupid and idiotic do you have to be to hate Ariel, the beautiful, lovable mermaid with the most beautiful singing voice?!
Because she abandon her family. Many say that and is stupid...... And frustrating..... Her father aproves her decision at the final!
@@TarotistPlagueDoctor That's still no excuse to hate her!
Moral of this story: Haters are gonna hate.
Huh? The gargoyles are hated?! They were helping Quasimodo to get out of the brutality of Claude Frollo and helping him to get out of the church
Most people were more cheesed off at the fact that Esmeralda and Phoebus got together, instead of Quasi and Esmeralda getting together.
Merida doesn't deserve any hate for wanting to be heard and listened to
I absolutely agree with all of these! I think Florian absolutely deserves a spot on this list. He does not deserve the hate he gets
I can't believe that Donald Duck is hated by some people.
Donald is one of the most important contributors to Disney's popularity, along with Mickey.
Donald Duck should be the one who would receive a lot of LOVE because he's one of Disney's most POPULAR characters!!!
Wow that’s crazy ppl actually hated Olaf
The only disney princess movie they did right was Cinderella. The rest are garbage.
My favorite princesses are Snow White, Cinderella, Moana and Raya
Through Snow White, i realized people underrestimated the extent of kindness. Yes a lot of people r kind, but rare r THAT kind like Snow White. Snow White is an example of finding hope and dreams despite abuses, and itz miraculous how she managed to still stay THAT kind and positive knowing her circumstances. Yes she isnt the smartest princess but hey she is only 14
I think Anxiety should be on this too!!
And Sadness!
True, I never hated them, I will forever be a Sadness and Anxiety defender, hell, I'll defend all of Riley's emotions!
@@leemorrell Same here. They all have their roles and their moments.
None of these guys should be hated
Nah Abuela deserves all the hate.
Snow white walked so all future Disney princess could run. Honestly I love a lot of these characters for their flaws it gives them room to grow. All people are different just like characters, and character growth is signs of great writing. ╮( ̄ヮ ̄)╭
Snow white is legendary could never her or any of these characters good list MsMojo thank you ❤
Hate feels like a strong word. Ig it is possible some do. But even just disliking these characters would be shocking for me
And I honestly love all Disney Characters. And Only dislike ones you're suppose to dislike
We don't give Zazu a negative comment, we think of him as funny and crazy.
They made the perfect choice of Rowan Atkinson to voice Mr Banana Beak. Too bad it was only the first one.
Joy from inside Out should be on the list
Joy is hated?
@@SnazzyjazzBroI mean, many human beings are miserable and want everyone to be miserable with them. ("Misery loves company" and all that ) Kinda makes sense for them to hate a character that represents the exact opposite emotion of what they want to spread out into the world. 😅

Schocking that Merida is hated
Of course the irony being that people are hating on the new snow white live action movie before it even comes out, because it has apparently been changed to not have Snow as simpering as the original, geez they just can't win!
I’m not jumping the gun until we see the finished cut
⚠️ Spoiler alert! ⚠️
I can’t believe there are people who hate Ariel, I absolutely love her
It’s especially hard to hate her with that beautiful singing voice of hers 💛
Somehow, I had a feeling that Snow White would be number one
Now , I’m not saying that I hate her too, but I can see why others might because her character (the whole damsel in distress thing) is a bit outdated
yeah when it's about her escaping from her stepmother.
Number one should’ve been Brier Rabbit, Brier Fox, and Brier Bear just because of the movie they are associated with.
I maybe a millennial but I’m a bigger fan of the vintage princesses than I am of the modern ones.
@@manuelorozco7760 I totally agree with you! I will defend the original Snow White for the rest of my life.

Yea the animated ones are the best movies. The only good disney princess live action is Cinderella!
I feel like we need more people like Snow White in this world. She is just too pure and sweet. I feel like it’s the same problem people have with characters like Superman.
