- This week I tested out the new Graco Truecoat 360 Cordless Connect. This is a new product from Graco that utilizes a drill or an impact driver to power a paint sprayer. What do you think? Functional or gimmick?

Definitely getting one
Thx!
Do you know if this sprays shellac primer which uses alcohol as the solvent?
Wish they sold them in the UK. I'd get one tomorrow
Good review. Thanks. I bet arm fatigue would be an issue for larger jobs if you used this...it looks heavy.
You can get a near professional quality sprair. That doesn't hold the paint in the handle which means you only have about a pound and a half 3 pounds of weight instead of up to 15lbs depending upon the weight of the drill. You can also rent a professional quality paint sprayer for fairly cheep... 40 dollars for something similar at harbor freight
As a heads up I want to say I got my paint sprayer on sale for a little less than two hundred dollars, its also what i would consider a semi pro series tool. Up to 5 galloans of pai t woth out the need to refill. And you dont have to hold the waeight of the drill and sprayer and paint combined so... I am saying that at the beginning of the video before I know anything about the review so maybe I'll see a use or need that works here for the price
Seriously debating hetting this tomorrow. I'm a handyman and typically try to push paint jobs onto a friwnd of mine but i see where im missing out on opportunities SO should invest a little more to get a bigger unit? I'm only spraying a single door or 2 and maybe a table at a time. Nothing big. Would really appreciate some opinions
I’m a handyman as well. I just picked it up today for a small 10feet of fence I’m painting tomorrow. Seem like it’s gunna be really helpful, I hate painting! I also have a job with some porch columns that need repair and painting, also some doors that need painting so this thing will have paid for itself if it works well.
@@A2ZGeekhow did that work out?
Can this be used with one of the extensions spray rod?
I have not tried that. Not sure about that
How do we search your list in Amazon.
The link opens in reg browser and not the app.
You can find my amazon list on my Instagram bio. www.amazon.com/shop/mrfixitdiy
How does it compare with the graco dewalt gun
It's super similar. You just don't have the ability to control the speed
Can you use oil paint with this unit ?
Here's all the specs: www.graco.com/us/en/homeowner/product/26d360-truecoat-360-cordless-connect.html

instead of handheld i rather they have shoulder body machine and a 1.5m hole with spray gun and yeah alot of weight off your hand
That's fair. Not for everyone.
They have made one. Graco Quickshot. This is 189 usd vs 1200 or so for the quickshot
Was this sponsored?
It was not sponsored. They sent me a review unit.
Use the chapstick on the male parts of the connection not female
Seen many who said the pumps break down a lot. Not worth the cost
That's what I'm afraid of. There's other options for a few hundred more but entails more parts to purchase and clean but I don't paint often
I've used the expensive graco handheld you can't really clean it and when it breaks you have to replace it. BUT I painted alot of cabinets with that gun the price point of this compared to that gun makes it worth it. You can definitely make your money back with something like this
How does the pump break if it's driven by the drill
The motors burn out… the battery powered ones have replaceable motors, but are 2-3x the cost. The o-rings can be easily replaced if they get torn up
