- Today I'm re-visiting Nai Thon as it's been some time since I was last here.
Nai Thon is situated in the more northern part of Phuket very close to the Phuket International Airport in fact just 10 minutes away.
Nai Thon is not a large area but does offer a more relaxed pace of life with a few shops, restaurants, Massage and Hotels.
The beach area at Nai Thon is nothing short of gorgeous, set back slightly in a cove with a long sandy beach and crystal clear turquoise water that looks so inviting.
So whether you're relaxing on the beach, paddling in the sea or lazily looking around the shops, small vendor stalls or even taking a massage you are sure to have a very enjoyable stay.

The resturants right on the beach were awesome. Hope they return. There is also a water park very close to there was so fun . You should go see if open?
Nai Thon has always been my top 3 beaches all over the western side Phuket. Nai Harn and Bang Tao being the other 2. People mistakenly miss or skip this beach because it's close to the airport and it doesn't feel deep enough into the heart of Phuket. I also feel Nai Thon is towards more the fancy end of Phuket. The big villas and mansions and more expensive hotels that are around the area give it a higher market feel. I however would not give this area a miss.
There are less people in Nai Thon even back then in the high seasons. Cheap accommodation and food are still available if you do not stay directly opposite the beach.
It's a fantastic area if you want a little isolation to write a book or just chill out for a few days. I miss Nai Thon very much

Stayed a week recently at that beach. A great spot but the weather turned ugly during the stay. Lots of weed for sale at the convenience store.
