A business podcast I just watched(ft Mpho Popps) said business is never an initiator/participant/benefector of corruption but rather wait for the government to fail and takes on the business opportunity. It's crazy that business(whether local or international) are always position as innocent bystanders.
It’s disgusting, why do they need protection, they are criminals organisation’s, so the people need protection from them and those that protect the scam
South Africa is just a crime scene. It is so hard to do honest business that you have to choose between your soul and food on the table for your family.
Corruption of Corporations that uses these accounting firms, often never gets scrutinized. Interestingly, look at who are the faces behind those companies(accounting firms)

Hey we don't talk about the 96% Private Sector corruption in South Africa, we only talk of the media publicised 4% corruption because politics drives the narrative.
Why don't you start a channel wherein you'll address that 96% Private Sector corruption as you are aware of it. He is doing a very good job empowering us the simple ordinary citizens of this country with an eye as well mind opening information as our hope and well-being depends largely on what happens in the Public Sector which is mainly our government. Politics driving the narrative or not, what has been related here in this video is what happened during those years and what brought this country to what it is today so, trying to make excuses, being sensitive, doesn't and won't change the narrative at all.
What you need to know is that as a business, you want to take advantage of most opportunities presented to start competitive and financially well off with the least amount of operations and investment. If the geography they are operating opens up these loopholes, they will take advantage. Do they have to be moral about their operations, again that's a values thing not a legal/compliance thing. These companies wouldn't dare try this in Europe or America. The geography and regulations and watchdogs won't allow them have these ideas 💡. So we all know where the problem stems from. We saw this happen during the 2010 world cup, now it's happening again.
Please forgive my ignorance. If these auditing firms had found wrongdoing in the parastatals' at that time, to whom would they have reported it to? The whole chain/system was corrupted. (Those that know don`t care and those that care don`t know- Nicholas Cage in Lord of war)

True... But frankly speaking, it's the narrative that white-media has been driving to say, 'CORRUPTION IS BLACK'
