Despite the mistake i understand him cause that console was sold in 99 dollars in the 1972. Thats why magnavox actually lost to atari. Also compared to atari magnavox barely had graphics which is why its not very attractive. Great for history not for value.
75 is a good offer since itz worth ab 300 to 110 dollar but still i would hold onto it my self

No it's not I have 3 of them it's worth about 50 bucks with mint box..I e tried all different angles. Nobody wants it...this guy's box was a little ruff 25 bucks was about right.. I found 3 of these and a closed coleco vision also with box at a salvage store in 2001 and bought all of them for 50 bucks with games...I am an Atari guy ..thought I hit the jackpot. Had them on eBay ..buy it now price went from 3 to 2 to 50 bucks. No one ever bought them. This was in 2018. Tried a local gamer store kinda like a game stop. Guy didn't even want them...things are only worth what somebody is willing to pay

It's literally just a pong console. Plus, nobody remembers the Odyssey 200. If it was an Odyssey 1 in really good condition it could probably get 400-500 dollars. That's the one everybody knows and remembers. Even an Odyssey 2 is closer to what you're saying. The guy with 3 200s is right. Literally just a pong console.
I mean, it wasn't even the second Magnavox console.
The Odyssey 200 is actually the third console from Magnavox as the successor to the Odyssey 100, which itself was a cheaper, stripped-down Odyssey.
The original Odyssey lasted about three years and then got replaced by the 100 in 1975, and then by the extensive line of Odyssey consoles that followed.
The way he dropped the mans box on the glass was a bit upsetting . You can tell the owner was shocked/mad.

the 1972 odyssey is worth 350, but this is the odyssey 200 made in 1975 so its worth alot less

I played one of these at my grandparents house in the early 70s.
It would probably sell pretty good on eBay. I had one when I was a teenager, be fun to show my kids.

This is the odyssey 200 and it was released in 1975. The original was released in 1972.
I will keep it in a box for my grandkids maybe they can pay tuition with it.

About 3 years ago I bought an european Odyssey 200 made by Philips (which is more rare than the Magnavox version) for 20 euros, complete in its box and instructions.
They offered him $25, so why does he say $75 during the interview portion? 😂 did his brain reset?

I got insanely lucky at a yard sale and found a boxed Magavox Odyssey WITH the original manufacturer’s box!! Paid $220 for it, don’t regret it for a second.
