Hi, can you please tell me if having a dirty grease filter will cause a magnetron to go out? My home warranty is refusing to pay for a repair stating that due to poor maintenance of these grease filters the magnetron overheated and died. Is this possible??

My Microwave is not heating nothing up,Its packed up for about a week,Given it the final test today,Ive put a Glass of cold water in the Microwave,Put it on the longest,The Glass of water still remains cold,Ive now stripped my Microwave completely to bits,Get that taken to the tip tonight on the way to work,I end up buying another second hand Microwave for about 10er hope it last about 4 years like this one has,£10 lasted for 4 years,Done quite really
