£70 last time I replaced mine with genuine MB,and yes they are £100 now. Blueprint, Febi bilstein, and Borg and Beck have started producing these filters price range from £35 to £55.
After watching your video I decided to do them myself as well. I bought Mann filters which cost me about €70. That’s about £60 I think? Great vid! Thanks 👍🏻
Hi, could you do one replacing the fuel filter? I’ve got the same engine and can’t see how to get the fuel filter out without removing the turbo pipe with the knuckle.
Its very coincidental you mention that I have already done a video a few days ago, my fuel filter had never been changed, I will post the video in the next couple of days, I had a issue with the turbo charge pipe which required removing because it has that stupid annoying knuckle you mention that protrudes over the filter! , the video has a negative and positive.... stay tuned..... mrix
@@mrix GREAT! it’s looks like mine hasn’t been changed as well. I like to change the fuel filter every 10,000 miles. Mine in desperate need of a change.

Hello and thanks for your reply, many of these jobs are not as complex as at first they may seem.... anyway glad you liked the video... mrix
@@mrix yeah very easy job. Especially after seeing your video. I was sweating much more with changing the cabin air filter haha.
Yes that cabin air filter can be a bit of a awkward pain in the.....etc.... mrix
Would love to be able to find a rewashable high flow one for this engine no company seem to produce them.
Would save a few quid if they did.... mrix
