What a fabulous tutorial. I love painting morning glory flowers. I’ve never done a white one before so I’m looking forward to having a go at this one. Another tip is to paint a darker tone around the flower, such as a green to represent the foliage surrounding the flower. I’m so excited to paint this flower. Thank you Rae for another fab video. Arty hugs - Dawn 🌅🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Thank you Dawn. Great tip about the green too xx
The world is a much more “colourful” place and happier with you in it !!!!!I just love your sessions ❤❤❤❤❤🇨🇦
Aww thank you Sharon x 🥰
I love the way you call time honored artist grade watercolor "run of the mill" I collect handmade, but I don't stir up negatives on very expensive paints in any case. thank you for the tutorial.
No offence meant- it was just in the context of what I was talking about. All those brands are not run of the mill. Indeed are of the highest quality
That's such a fabulous tutorial to paint first in the morning. Thank you for showing how to paint a white flower. Morning glory is beautiful! Arty hugs to you!
Aw thank you so much xx
That's so lovely! I'm amazed by your ability to create that depth in the flower's center so it looks tubular. Something I've yet to master lol
Thank you so much Cass x
❤ Beautiful painting Rae!! Thank you! ❤
My pleasure entirely x
Oh my. Another beautiful flower. Thank you. Hope to get to it soon. ♥♥♥♥
Aw thank you Beth x
Lovely tutorial, thank you! I will have to practice painting white flowers a bit more 😅
Thank you x
Absolutely lovely!!! Thank you 🥰

What a wonderful result, well done Rae! I really love your palette as well!! You are a LEGEND ✨🙌😎🤗🎉💅❤🐝
Aw thank you my friend 🐝🥰❤️
I've been late to the game but I have posted to the group today and downloaded the Apple and this one to do tomorrow. Pebbles today and a silly tree frog 🐸 thanks for the line drawings! I draw a little, but I really would rather get right to painting 🖌️🎨🎉
I’ve just seen your beautiful post on the group. Thank you for joining us there.
Yay! I was finally able to snag a set of these brushes since there is a great coupon code right now. Can’t wait to use them. !!!
Wonderful. You’ll love them
Love morning glories!! ❤
Thank you x
Yellow green, May or Spring green is always on my palette. Sap would definitely change the chroma of this subject. I went through all of my yellow green colours last night for side by side swatching. I feel the obsession 😂😂😂😂
😂❤️
Beautiful!
Thank you 🥰
Gorgeous
That’s very kind of you, thank you
Morning Rae - How lovely, thank you! I've not done a Morning Glory flower as yet....so can't wait to add this to my other ones of your's, which I'm currently working on! 💖🌼💐🌸🌺🍃
Good morning /afternoon. Thank you so much. It’s a lovely one to paint for sure. Quick results too xx
Love this and the brushes. I used petal shadow violet by Jackman's art, and QOR magenta, nickel azo yellow, viridian, Daniel Smith Sap Green
Thank you. Great colour choices too
Lovely! I have your brush set, and I must say how much I am enjoying the blender brush! It's making such a difference for me.
Thank you Vicki. I’m delighted to hear that x
Absolutely delightful…..as always
Thank you 🥰
Love your delicate technique.
Thank you very much Jane
Looked for the color partridge? I love it. Maybe it’s in a set and not individually sold?
It could be out of stock. I know they are in the process of curing more paint
Thank you Rae for a most amazing tutorial. I was lucky enough to purchase a set of your brushes, which I absolutely love, they are incredible - just one question, how do you store them, do you put the protective covers over the bristles, or?
Thank you so much. I’m delighted that you love the brushes. I store mine upright in a dry jar. No need for the protective covers unless travelling with them x
Just found your lovely video's today. I'm not seeing the in video links for finding the paints & brushes you market. I'm very interested in acquiring both if still available?
You do the kind of watercolor I've always wanted to do-detail oriented. Please Helen I'm going to do some further searching, as I would love to acquire the brushes especially, I'm hoping the paints are also still available 🙏 🥰

Rae, I have always wanted to attempt a white flower and have heard how difficult it is…You make it look so easy…..I do not have deep deep light colors….is there a replacement color for Partridge….in another brand like Daniel Smith or Windsor Newton?
Hi Pamela - I give alternative colours throughout the video. You can use Paynes Grey and water it down for a soft blue grey tone - this would work just as well
Can’t wait to try this one Rae 👏👏👏. I don’t have the waterlily colour. Could I use DDL woodpecker green instead?
Hi. Yes. That would work beautifully x
Or perhaps Fern?
@PaulaVerrier-qt7dv Green woodpecker and fern mixed?
Lovely idea 😀
I went to the paint link and I can’t find those colours, darn it! I did sign up for mailing list
Aw sorry. It could be a seasonal colour but do try the alternative colours suggested in the video
I cannot find your description box?
It’s right under the video. You may need to create a Google or YT account to see it but it’s there
Wonderful video. I looked for a single pan of Partridge and could not find it.
Thank you. It’s likely to be out of stock, because they are made in very small batches
Great video! I have your beautiful brushes and work beautifully ❤
The ladies at deep deep light are so helpful. If you email them I’m sure they’ll let you know if available.
@PaulaVerrier-qt7dv thank you x
Hi lovely video I really enjoy your style of botanical painting. I only have a WN cotman colours which would you recommend to use many thanks. ❤
