Feeding the losses to Slinky just makes sense and as you said... it's the cycle of life. Their coming into the world wasn't wasted. But the rest of the hatch! Whoo! Such cuties! There's going to be some happy and proud new owners out there. May they follow your example and give them the best lives ever.
I got a baby rhino iguana from you last year and he is still doing fantastic! This species is so curious and full of personality. I love that they keep these big 'ol bellies for their whole life 😍 I have him in a 4L x 2W x 4H and I'm already getting ready to make him another cage haha
I SO appreciate that you don't candy-coat the cycle of life. Despite the loss of the two, we can all rejoice in the mob of super cute, hyper-active little rhinos that have come into the world.
Sorry for the two unfortunate babies... I was particuraly impressed by the moment Slinkey STOPPED, when you told him you have no more. Tells a lot about the connection you have with him.
Humans are one of the few creatures in nature who are sentimental. I think it's really good that you showed the positive side of death, and how it's not a real tragedy. One of my favorite sayings is "Life never leaves, it just changes form."
Awesome.. when the cycle of life is literally happening in your own backyard because of your doing its how you know youre animals are happy and thriving! Keep up the good work Kenan because not many people on YT knows how to take care of their animals and purely only keep them around for self entertainment and for the $$$. They deserve to live and not only locked up in a overcrowded and tight enclosure. You sir is a true legend 👍
Congratulations Petra ! She is one prolific mama Rhino Iguana. So good to see how Jerry's habitat has seen Black Throats, Argus monitors and now Rhino Iguanas babies.
It was hard to see the dead babies, and harder to see them get eaten, but I forced myself to watch in order to make it easier. It's nature, as you said.
Actually they have a tiny tooth on the tip of their snout called an egg tooth which is what they use to make the initial cut in the egg. Please try to give accurate info
Incredible how much knowledge you have, and to care for the animals you have, AND be able to bring little ones into the world. Man, you are doing good by nature, humanity, and the Earth. Thank you!
Congratulations on hatching out so many puppysours aka Rhino iguanas, and yes their fat little bellies are too cute. Kenan, I appreciate that you feed the ones that didn't make it to other lizards like Slinky, it's important not to waste. Thanks for sharing, see you soon.
They’re so cute ❤ Baby chickens have the yolk that feeds them as well. Of course they’re related!❤ They’re so cute! You have a very prolific female!! I’d love to have one,but I don’t have the room to build a roomy humid home for them.
one of the animals that I like and love because it is rare and there are still many people like us who care about its extinction and one day I will be able to maintain and be able to breed it. I really want to be given as a gift riho to be able to maintain it until old age. because rhinos survive like we live in the world. thank you kamp kenan 🦖🦖😘😘
should try no hide setup and using a wood lattice inside the enclosure to stop them from being so skittish... david durham is doing some amazing things with his baby rock iguanas with socializing and keeping them tame.
Is it okay to keep rhino iguanas in a windy desert city? I've been wanting one but I'm not sure how the weather/climate of a desert would effect an iguana.
my ten foot burm who was a total sweetheart with ten year old girls who came to play with him passed away tonight, just want a community who understands
It's always so crazy to see how useless and helpless newborn humans are compared to all the animals that have to immediately be on the run and dodging predators and find food for themselves.
Those hatching videos feel always like it is happening the first time, no matter how many times tit occurs. Fortunately those rare iguanas lay each year like clockwork. I do recycling with my dead animals too.
Where do you post the babies when they are ready to sell? I couldn’t find anywhere on the website about buying any live reptiles :) rhinos are a dream for me!
I'm gonna have one of your Rhino Iguanas someday. Just got out of major surgery and missed the warmer weather to ship. I mean upstate NY is still having 60 plus degree days and I do have an entire room ready for one. If you could ship one over night and it's less then 1k. Right now would be perfect.
Hi kenan there is an island between Puerto rico and Dominican republic call Isla mona that have tons of them. The island is own by Puerto Rico and they do tours for people to go see the island and the iguanas
I think in animal care (and ppl care), there's always gonna be losses. Things die, it's the nature of life; however there's also room to feel your feelings while caring for the living imo. I know that's more or less what you've said, but I don't often see it being ok to be sad mentioned. It's usually more reassuring the vocal ppl that this happens naturally 😅
I always wondered why you don't put larger tortoises in Slinkys habitat to keep the grass at bay. It would save a lot on you, because you do it in the other areas.
I would like to know more about them. Also what is the best type to have in KY. I know I would probably have to have both an indoor cage and an outdoor cage. Our winters are brutal
Love to watch life at the kamp! It has become a family pastime so much so that my wife would like to get ether a Cuban Rock Iguana or a rhino Iguana. How could we get one of these baby dinosaurs from you?
It’s always sad when babies don’t make it but it happens you only can do your best which we no you do that happened to one of my dogs puppies one of them came out undeveloped it sucks but that’s how it is with animals
I'm glad you don't just throw them out. If breeding bluetongues works out for me I had been thinking of getting a woma python to eat any stillborn babies and to be my buddy while bluetongues are brumating.

Those babies are too cute for words! "Grr, I a vicious baby dinosaur"!

If u don't mind me asking how much was ur baby ?
I SO appreciate that you don't candy-coat the cycle of life. Despite the loss of the two, we can all rejoice in the mob of super cute, hyper-active little rhinos that have come into the world.
I see from the feedback at the moment I watch this video that 15 of us (the downvoters) can't deal with reality.
I love how the camera man got left alone with Slinky :D
Lol, yeah, that made me giggle! Watching Kenan closing the door and walking away, and imagining the second the camera stops rolling, “Em, Kenan?!” Lol
Slinky is a good boy; he hasn't eaten a cameraman in years.
What happened to Tom? Is it too hard for him to come down from the Northeast? Understandable.
Right?!
Sorry for the two unfortunate babies... I was particuraly impressed by the moment Slinkey STOPPED, when you told him you have no more. Tells a lot about the connection you have with him.
It also says a lot about the intelligence of monitors.
@@YochevedDesigns Yes!
It's my first time to breed rhino iguanas, and now i have 20 fertile eggs in the incubator, and i can't wait to see them hatch ❤
Love waking up to a new video at the camp! Welcome to the world little ones!
I love those babies! It's awesome to see them hatching. Great Job Kenan!
I wish I had the space for one of these beautiful creatures. For now, I live vicariously through the channel.
🙏🤠
Congrats on the new babies, and though it's sad, the circle of life continues and Slinky gets nutrition from the ones who didn't survive ❤
I love Rhino's!You keep your animals superbly !

I love this video because it shows the reality and the cycle of life thank you for showing us the full cycle in the most natural way possible!!
Actually they have a tiny tooth on the tip of their snout called an egg tooth which is what they use to make the initial cut in the egg. Please try to give accurate info
Love how nothing goes to waste on the kamp.
What type of wire mesh did you use for their enclosure?
Incredible how much knowledge you have, and to care for the animals you have, AND be able to bring little ones into the world. Man, you are doing good by nature, humanity, and the Earth. Thank you!
I love how you called Slinky and then he appeared...NICE..and feeding him the babies was awesome!!😘😘
I love hatching videos!! Would love seeing more about your hatching husbandry

Hello great video information and updates Kenan
should try no hide setup and using a wood lattice inside the enclosure to stop them from being so skittish... david durham is doing some amazing things with his baby rock iguanas with socializing and keeping them tame.
I wonder if Matt's heart skipped a few beats there when Kenan shut the door on him? Mine did!
Is that a technical description "squirmy lil dude's?".😍😆
Brave camera man!
Those babies are so cute thanks for always sharing and have a great day. Oh ya lol think you left something in Slinky’s enclosure 😂

Is it okay to keep rhino iguanas in a windy desert city? I've been wanting one but I'm not sure how the weather/climate of a desert would effect an iguana.

This lizard is my next reptile baby 😮, I must accomplish this .

Hi kenan there is an island between Puerto rico and Dominican republic call Isla mona that have tons of them. The island is own by Puerto Rico and they do tours for people to go see the island and the iguanas
I notice their third eye is so much more visible when they're little.
Right... that light spot was really prominent !
Slinky..."Hey Mat you got more food!".. one day .. my Genghis will be the size of Slinks..hopefully

I always wondered why you don't put larger tortoises in Slinkys habitat to keep the grass at bay. It would save a lot on you, because you do it in the other areas.

Do you have a price list for your tortoise babies
It’s always sad when babies don’t make it but it happens you only can do your best which we no you do that happened to one of my dogs puppies one of them came out undeveloped it sucks but that’s how it is with animals
I'm glad you don't just throw them out. If breeding bluetongues works out for me I had been thinking of getting a woma python to eat any stillborn babies and to be my buddy while bluetongues are brumating.
