This Chanticleer tour was just what I needed, a reminder to any gardener that even the most well-tended garden must have its own inherent chaos, which no gardener can override. As co-creation, Nature has the final say, especially at season's end .It's proof of success rather than any kind of failure, so something to truly enjoy & revel in!
Thanks for your garden tours, Danielle. Your slow camera work is so enjoyable for me. I get vertigo easily and some channels' camera work is so dizzying I have to look away or not watch at all.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful Chanticleer Garden tour! Danielle, I enjoyed hearing the birds along with the slowed down pace! On my list of must visit gardens! There’s so much beauty to see there! 😮
Thank you so much for this wonderful video and your patience handling the camera. I needed this because I was questioning my decision to extend the garden to the front yard and right now it’s not looking its best but seeing your video of this renowned wonderful garden, it reminded me that it doesn’t have to be well manicured all the time. I really appreciate your intention to make this video so calming and relaxing! It made me want to take a walk through it holding hands with my significant other ❤❤❤ Thanks again!😊😊😊
Such a stunningly designed garden with an amazingly wide variety of plant life!!! Beautifully done video ❤, complete with outrageous bird conversations...Outstanding!!!!
We are so lucky to live in the SE PA/northern DE region! The gardens of yesteryear flourish here thanks to the care and consideration of garden enthusiasts who strive to protect the legacy of those who came before us. Generous donations allow these properties to carry on. I hope and pray this will be the case for many more generations to come! So much learning and beauty to behold! Hooray for gardens!
I live not far from Chanticleer and typically get a season pass. It’s a beautiful garden, especially in the spring when they have thousands of daffodils.
This garden is on my list to visit someday. Thank you for the tour ahead of time. If only Grace was walking with you, that would be perfect. Love seeing her in the videos!
Another great video! It's nice to see what I'm pretty sure are Kitty de Jong's new Amarine hybrids @11:40. I've found them at least somewhat easier and more productive as pot *or* garden plants than Amaryllis belladonna, Nerine bowdenii, or Amarcrinums.
What I love about this garden is its informal design, mass plantings, containers & natural infrastructure...very English Cottage style, I think? I'm never sure how to define my own garden, definitely not formal, I would say eclectic leaning toward Cottage, but then again, depends on what side of the house we are looking at...front a bit more manicured, back very informal. Would love to get your insight on different garden styles...perhaps in a future video this winter?
A very interesting garden . Asi watched I was wishing for some identifying captions. Some of the plants were totally new to me, some were so "overgrown" that they have lost a familiar form, others I couldn't pin down due to an abundance of possibilities. But in the end it doesn't matter, I'm sure it was totally stunning earlier in the season.
I'm considering attending the Philadelphia flower show in 2025; have you been and if so, what advice would you give ? I'll be traveling from out of state. Thank you. Love your channel ❤.
@ 4:21. So far like the color of flowers (themselves), the bird song, the vegetable garden 's look (clean and neat),....but still do not like the jumble of plants. Looks very unkept to my clean cut Japanese trimmed style that I love with colorful Japanese maples, Cherry trees, magnolia, azaleas, etc...ginkos etc, ground covers, etc....everything neat and trim ...you know me, have written before, and love gardens, but just struggle with too many different things smashed together 😮😊🎉❤😊

I wonder how many containers there are and if they have to hand water a lot of them. Thanks so much for your tours. They are inspiring!

Lovely garden tours with natural sounds. Dislike all the videos of garden tours with music blasting 😒 and talking too much.
Thank you for sharing 🙌💚🌿🌲
Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me where you got your water fountain from, thank you so much for your videos.. so enjoy them

And I'm not even Japanese 😊
With maybe some marigolds at the end of the rows❤
Really like the different pots and their contents and the very clean look of the railing behind them
Something for everyone this time, Danielle, thank you❤
@13:00 my husband calls those "five minutes seats"
How do they not have holes from the caterpillars in their brassicas? That’s not far from me
