I really appreciate that you put the flower names in captions on the screen. I know that takes more work to do but it is a nice touch in case there is a particular pronounciation or spelling because sometimes growers can get creative with spelling! Nice to have that the name shown so you can jot it down. Grace is always a bundle of fun!
Your new chest of drawers looks lovely and the interior is so nice, too! Thank you for the yellow twig dogwood education! Your home is so inviting and reminds me of one you would see in a magazine. Your flair for flowers is evident in your home interior design skills as well.
Danielle l lookforward to your gardens and videos. Always interesting and beautiful no matter the season. Your Grandmother would be so proud of what you have accomplished and shared with others. Happy winter season!❄️
Beautiful Christmas flowers I know that are not the proper name but what I was brought up to call them. Nice to see some amazing colors in the dead of winter.
Thank you, Danielle, for your expert tips on gardening. I was inspired by your earlier Amaryllis videos & gave 3 I bought last year from a garden , I visit annually, another chance to bloom. Happily, following your suggestions, all 3 are reblooming right now! My test is to let them bloom, grow over the summer, let go dormant & wake them up! I hope I can bloom them for many years! Grace is such a wonderful companion-nice to see her participating!
Everything I learned about roadside flower selling came from this sweet Northlawn Flower Lady. I watched many videos before I started and always came back to her video. I still learn something new on every video. Ask away because she is the expert even though she humbly says she is not.
Danielle I too need outside time in and around my garden. We’ve two feet of snow here in Weston WV beautiful but limiting. Yes seed starting is helping but perhaps I’ll just walk through and share the snow capped plants lol☺️enjoy your tours!
My first year growing Amaryllis; I used all your Amaryllis videos to guide me through the process. I bought three bulbs from Longfield Gardens mid December using your discount code and wow what a successful endeavor. Will be repeating the experience this year. Thanks for making your knowledge available, reduces some of the trial and error.
May I make a video topic suggestion? I have been watching your hydrangea videos to prepare for a new hydrangea bed. I love the ideas of mixing different hydrangeas, and I can get a sense on how relatively big or small they will eventually be. But how to pair them together to get a layered look that looks great in three seasons is beyond me. For example, some varieties might sprout/ flower earlier than others, and I would like to not have significant holes in the bed but also do not want to just space things equally. In addition, how to mix tall and short ones to have some flower to look at different angles. I would appreciate if you could make videos talking about pairing hydrangeas. I will also appreciate videos focusing on individual hydrangea varieties to show how a particular variety behaves throughout all three seasons. I think there is no better garden that yours to illustrate - you are the hydrangea queen of gardening channels!
Hi Danielle, I'm here from Steph's channel, hooked and rooted. She shared your channel with her viewers in the top 20 ornamental garden channels. It was so kind of her to this. I now have new channels to watch, including yours. Your pup is adorable! This room your in looks so cozy. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Thank you for video I always look forward to seeing you,Gracie, and your garden😍 Now out to my garden to cut back my catmint! I also need time outside even in winter to enjoy garden. Just enjoyed a hike at Winterthur gardens with director it was so exciting to see the snowdrops peeking up thru the snow . There is so much beauty even in wintertime. Look forward to your next video.
oh that would be a great video to watch! I am planning to build my own roadside stand this Spring. I have been selling bouquets at other places which have not been profitable. So to save running around, IM going to do it here. I live on a rural road but had a greenhouse business. So people know me for my flowers. But the area doesnt seem to be popular for cut flowers but I will try anyway. Thanks for all the things you show and teach. Love your channel.
Hi Danielle, you brightened up my day with all your beautiful types of amaryllis flowers. They look so pretty in the garden library on the beauty and the beast table! lol great reference for its shape, I can see it clear as day! Thanks for the tour and braving the cold to bring us your garden clean up! it is currently 29 in zone 6a in Connecticut. You're a good mom taking Grace for her pup cup lol she just loves you so much. 😍
Thanks for the wonderful tour of your amaryllis. They are just beautiful! I love the way you have combined them with the artwork in your home. I think you said in the past that your Dad is an artist. Did he do some of the paintings for you? Just beautifully curated in your home!
Gorgeous amaryllis, and I enjoyed seeing how you cut back the yellow twig dogwood. I have red twig dogwood, but haven't cut them back yet since they've only been in the ground about a year.
Lovely as always Danielle. I would love to hear about your flower stand business. I’ve always wondered how you price your arrangements for your area and how you advertise. 9 years! Do you still enjoy doing it?
Hi Erin, would you consider explaining how to get a wholesale number? I started a small roadside stand with my daughter last year, it did really well. We got an ein for taxes and now want to be able to buy wholesale. We're very small but expanding as space allows. Thank you, I love your channel. One of the most helpful videos I've ever seen on UA-cam was when you took people shopping for racks and grow lights to the Lowes store- it gave me the encouragement and knowledge to get the ball rolling!
I love white flowers of any type so the white amaryllis are all my favorites. Looking forward to learning about cut flower sales eventhough I don't do it. I'm just curious about the factors to consider.
Danielle. How long does an Amaryllis bloom last in a vase? Does it vary by amaryllis type? How much longer do they last when potted? I ordered a White Candle and a Mandela from Amaryllis and Caladium ( your recommendation ) and I am so pleased! Thank-you! I look forward to your videos. The slow camera work is so appreciated by a vertigo prone subscriber. Blessings to you and family this Year!
You often seem to cut the Amaryllis and place in a vase. Any particular reason, other than they have less chance of faling over? DO they last longer when cut? Thanks - beautiful photos, and Grace is such a sweetie!
How do you keep the amaryllis’s from flopping? Mine get so heavy they fall over. I’m anxious to cut my hellebores but right now we have about 10” of snow.
Grace is such a crack up. LOL , she is just like a 3 / or is it 4 year old, have you been in the choc ???? NO. as it all, on a kids face . LOL Having funny . she must make you LOL.

Could you do a video on troubleshooting bulbs? I'm not sure what I did wrong only two of my 15 bloomed this year 😢
My amaryllis bulbs did not bloom but have long leaves. Should I still hold on to them or just be done with them! Thx Danielle.
when I garden.....I stop thinking.
What zone do you garden in?
How do you keep the amaryllis’s from flopping? Mine get so heavy they fall over. I’m anxious to cut my hellebores but right now we have about 10” of snow.
