My release failed once. It was a pain in the butt as I had a bunch in the trunk. People look at you funny unloading your trunk in the gas station.

hi all, just a quick tip, I was informed in audi service that emergency release works only ONCE, so after pulled once it wont work ever again as per audi mechanic

Sure... it works only once, if you pull it so hard that you break the lever or the release mechanism.

usually if you need to use the emergency then the actuator is probably already broken and will need to be replaced.
