This is the future in many cities. Housing shortage in Vancouver and yet city Hall will not allow.timy home communities in the city. It's politics. Once cities are paid some kind of payoff tax and. Tiny home communities are needed here. We live in 40 foot class a. .a nice acerage with electric and sewage for each site would be a sell out here , many of us want this. We will have to fight for it. Thanks for sharing. I build my own stuff and your builds are awesome and look great as well. Thanks
@@Seashellsbytheseashore21 the way the workshop was set up was that you had your plans finalized with Randy and his crew and when you got there your house was framed in and most of the windows and door(s) are cut already you arrive on a Sunday afternoon. Sunday afternoon is orientation and then Monday morning at seven you get started and you get started by plumbing the house pulling the water lines pulling the electrical lines deciding where you want the outlets to be and then on Tuesday the spray foam guy comes and while they're working on the inside spray foam in the house and underneath the trailer you are working on your outside siding then on Thursday I think it was the electrician comes back and finalizes your electrical plan where your outlets are going specifically and then the next few days are just finishing up putting in your hardwood floor your kitchen cabinets and stairs or ladder are built prior to you getting there or finished while you're there on the bathroom is installed the kitchen is installed and finishing touches and you should leave on Sunday afternoon with your house my house did not leave until Wednesday because I was not transporting my house myself it was transported by the tiny house delivery company . At this time incredible tiny homes is not offering the workshops because they just moved into a new facility I think it was eight weeks ago but they hope to get them initiated again because you can save anywhere from $7-$10,000 depending on what upgrades you add to your home
@@girlie720 oh wow!! that sounds super cool!! i love that you actually had a hand in finishing your own house!! not to mention saving quite a bit, that's awesome!! i won't be able to get my own little tiny for probably a couple years yet, but that definitely sounds like something I'd love to do. I think I'd go your route having the delivery company do it too, especially since its the first time. Thank you for sharing your experience!! :)
