Although I could appreciate many of the different living situations on this channel, very few could I actually imagine living in…. This absolutely being the exception. I'm loving the trough! It's nice and deep, great for a hot soak. And I was so interested when he was talking about that breeze which cools everything off so you can snuggle up on the sofa or bed, sounds great. Having the high ceilings really made it all airy and light. Well done guys!

Lake Fontana in North Carolina in the Smokey Mountains I KNEW IT! As you were showing the lake after about 5 seconds I said man that looks just like the area I rented a house boat in Lake Fontana. I had a great time there and want to go back and rent a few house boats with friends and enjoy some boat riding, fishing, cooking, and relaxing again there. I went to a big boat launch and had a fishing guide bring me to the house boat in his boat so I didn't have to take 10 trips with the provided canoe. It was great since I explained I was a 38yr old firemen the owners said I could bring my portable 3' round fire pit with fold out legs so I enjoyed grilling a steak and relaxing and enjoying the fire pit with the lake background view. I also did about 5mins of fishing until my newly bought fishing rod broke, but it was the cheapest rod they had so about what I expected. Was a great night. I just wish I had a week there and had about 2 or 3 more house boats with friends and some boats to enjoy the lake. Maybe next year.

6-12-1971 was our wedding day. We are both still amazed that we still love one another and our lives continue to be incredible! As great-grands, we have been blessed with such a a fantastic family! It was a rough beginning. We were only 17+ 18 when we married. We agreed on a large family and were expecting within the first three months. Sadly, we lost our first, second and third babies (two were stillborn and we lost one in an auto accident)…. Then we were blessed with our fourth. . .a son; just five days after our fourth wedding anniversary. Then 14 months later we were blessed with another son. They grew up as best friends. . .and after quite a huge amount of living. . .they now live together. Our advice to couples considering marriage is: "marry your best friend and not only appreciate one another every day, but tell your spouse daily what makes you appreciate them!) ❤️

I would love to see a video on how Tiny Houses have been experiances extreme weather events like forest fires. Some Tiny Houses have been able to evade the fires by their ability to be mobile. Happy to hear it and great video idea! We’ve been working on a tiny house wildfire evacuation plan. Our shuttle bus conversion is actually beefy enough to tow it so we’re adding a hitch. We have a list of safe places to tow it, in case of evacuation. That way, even our A-frame cabin is destroyed, we’ll still have a house. 😅 But it will mean getting cozy with our long-term tiny house tenant that we’ll be selecting soon-definitely we’ll need to thoughtfully talk this through with them.

When they flush, it goes into a holding tank that gets pumped out periodically. They have to transport their garbage via dinghy boat to the marina, and 3x a day take their dog to shore via the dinghy.
