I had recently commented on a video regarding build timelines. I had stated the company I work for is taking a minimum of 9 months on average. I feel I need to add; my builder is the number one big home builder in the nation since 2002. We have very deep pockets. Due to profit erosions during the build we no longer build "to be builds", only spec homes. We choose the elevation, flooring, siding roofing etc. There are NO change orders or customization. This is the only way we've been able to operate at a profit and keep thousands of people employed in today's build industry. You would NEVER speak to the owner 😂 that's just crazy talk! My opinion only; Randy's dedication and commitment to collect, buy, upcycle/recycle and store materials is the main reason he can keep his prices beyond reasonable! The big home builders see you ITH!!
I disagree. I think RANDY would, HAPPILY speak to your company's owner. The difference , I believe ( and this is ONLY from my perspective) is, that Randy has an inbuilt desire and longing to put roofs over the heads of those who need them. He's FINE with making a profit which is not comparable to the 1 your company makes. If he makes enough,to keep building, keep going, stay committed to his " initial" dream, and ( I've heard him say this) Get up,each morning, enthusiastic , raring to go, looking for new ideas, loving his ideas, and, getting " IN THERE " with the carpenters, he will keep going. This companys advertising is ONLY on you tube. They show " IT ALL" flaws and all. That's why they have stolen the hearts on nearly 100,000 of us, followers. This man lost it all, once before, but, at 62( I think) He has the enthusiasm and energy of a man 1/2 of his age) I've worked for big companies, before, and, often , the problem is, that there are 2 many chiefs, and, not enough Indians. NO OFFENSE intended. Purely based on my experiences , and, opinions formed , from watching you tube, and, reading the comments. These folks are " real " people, who treat everyone in the same way. However much they have to spend. They are, also, " reachable " by the public. Big companies, with CEOs and Senior/ Junior managers. There's no " personal touch ".
I love this house and someday maybe I can get down there and get one. You and Amanda make a good team and in my opinion a good couple. Don't ever let negativity bring you down. You are helping people that really need a house
I like the door on the side rather than the end. It gives more choice for furniture. I also like the mini split on the end wall as it's out of the way. This is a great design.
Awesome home. I'm sure the new owner will love it. I like the idea of the small water-heater, it will give her extra storage. ITH just keeps getting better.
That is beautiful, I like to see the empty homes and be able to better imagine what I would do. Good eye on the barn door Amanda, I like it also. Like you Randy, I can see a Murphy bed and an armoire, I'm very uncluttered, it fits my mind lol. My wife has trouble climbing stairs for medical reasons so the loft could be for rock climbers.
This Panel Home is the first that I can see myself living in. I’m drawn to the stick built homes. The wood really makes a difference for me. It’s beautiful! You’ve done an amazing job blending the two.
I agree. I LOVE the " look" of the stick built, but, as a solo female, the idea of a maintenance free home, changes my choice. Also, it would be great looking, with, maybe, some dark wooden stained window boxes/ and or shutters.
@@n8rlvr876 I'm going to be moving there! I loved the " Christmas House!!( I think it's their most watched video!!". Beautiful. My funds are limited, but, even so, an ESP, which hasn't been stuccod on the outside , etc, will be fine, until I have the funds to upgrade it, a bit further down the line. ( not really an upgrade, just something aesthetically pleasing) That's my thought , anyway!!
Randy, Amanda is talking about Metal wire pullouts inside cabinets for easy access to Your items. And for Deep Cupboards, there is two racks...one pulls out the door of cabinet and the back slider rack slides over to the door opening to reach things, that are deep into cabinet. I haven't purchased one yet, but I sure intend too. The design is a great idea for reaching those buried supplies etc., In those long deep cupboards. I agree with Amanda on this.
This one is really nice! I love the 16' living room. I paint, write, sew, craft, cook, and need room to gather, so I really love the size of this one. I want to downsize, but the room for multiple activities and natural light makes this one the winner. 😊
This home is a very beautiful home. I love all you do in your homes. Amazing work and I think you for giving so much to these home and for those who you build your homes for
I love this home and I love that y’all are feeling better! I prayed for you Amanda. I enjoy watching you two so much and I appreciate the community you’ve created for people who can’t afford big houses! Where’s Ace? I miss seeing that cutie
I haven't seen one thing you had that I don't like yet makes it a hard decision you guys are just absolutely amazing I want to buy my baby nephew one he's six years old and he loves tiny houses
Would like to see what this home owner does to the inside. I'm looking forward to see what the lady does from the other video today. She had a lot of neat ideas
Wow!! This is amazing it's helping me see my vision of my Tiny-home. 10' x 26.' I can just picture in my head how to set up my living room and bedroom. Do I want to put my bed the long way 10' or the shorter way 7'. Looking at this living room it helps me see how I can place my recliner. I'm just so excited to see my build in all the different stages.. Thank you Randy and Amanda from the bottom of my Heart ❤ I love you both and excited to get to know you better...
I love this home and even with my bad knees can use the loft...... I would put a fridge on the end of the countertop and than have a removable island/counter next to the fridge with 3 or 4 stools. There will be more than enough spice for the lounge area...... Love this home....
I really love the inside ESP house that kitchen countertop is beautiful. 💕 God knows I would love to win a free tiny home to put on my lot in the forest. That 10 x 24’ ESP looks so good. Thanks for Sharing it with us. Hope Mama Jones is doing OK. Amanda and Randy I hope you both feel better soon.🥰
FYI There's a lid that switches for the toilet tank lid making it a sink - space saving * Bonus the Grey water from sink is used to flush toilet. Amazon sells them.
Beautiful home! I love the ceilings and upstairs flooring. Great job on the barn door. I havent liked them before because they have a gap, your guy seems to have fixed that issue.
I love it as I love all your tiny homes, one day I will own one, and get to meet y'ALL, hopefully living near, and befriending y'ALL🙏(*"GOD"* willing), barn doors are a few of my favorite things! Glad y'ALL are feeling better! *"GOD"* bless y'ALL!😇
Love this. ESP is my choice, but, I didn't think 24ft would be long enough. Def is. Beautiful. Glad you are feeling better Amanda! I've been ill this last week,so, I need to catch up on the videos. Love this one.
Love the huge room in this one. I could see me separating part of it for a bedroom area with armoire, as walking steps is not so easy for me. I would store Xmas, and maybe a computer area upstairs by the window. I love the wood, I swear I could almost smell it. Love the big windows, love all the plugs in the baseboards.
I loved when Amanda toured the upstairs and said “Well La t da” that’s my name La Ta Da! Too funny! You both are EVERYTHING! You both will never be Cancelled!😂
Looks good guys.. ur in my thoughts and prayers 🙏 hope you get to feeling better ❤ "ya ought not to b talkin like that ur just a boy" one of my fav movies...🥰 have a good night get rest.
I LOVE this home! It is really an amazing blend of wood and panel and stucco! I was wondering if on the staircase, you could eliminate the last two steps below the loft deck and add a couple of rungs to get up on the loft deck(with hand holds on the deck)...like a combination staircase/ladder. This would make for a bigger bathroom closet.
