The Sansa and Jon Reunion hits me every time I see it. Jon hasn't seen any Starks since the first Episode. He almost saw Bran back in S4 but Bran made the decision to keep going north instead of Hollering at Jon

Have we ever gotten anything close to that kind of happiness in all these seasons before this? It was truly surreal to watch. So beautiful.
Back then it gave us the very first Stark reunion(for Sansa and Jon) in six years, loved how Jon said "We never should've left Winterfell." with Sansa admitted how "awful" she was back in the beginning. To think if wasn't for this journey, their lives would be entirely different.
In this episode Daenerys showed that she doesn't always need her dragons, cause she is a dragon herself. After all, they wouldn't exist without her...
This episode also showed that she thinks she can solve all of her problems by setting them on fire.

As someone who has been watching Steejo for years (don’t even know how many at this point, I think I recall you both announcing your relationship though after I had been watching him a while), I am super glad you two are able to do well off of UA-cam and your other endeavors.
Probably because I’m getting “old” now too, but I actually enjoy the talk about money. It’s nice to see people being successful in something they enjoy doing! And it’s also cool to feel like a very small part of that success even if it’s just by watching videos over the years.

@@Pink.andahalf The LOTR is chock full of deus ex machina. There's no drama and no one is in any real danger ever. It's a bedtime story for children in comparison, great though, it is. And if we add The Hobbit into the LOTR universe, they don't even make it to the 5. They fumble the handoff.

In Cercei's eyes, either the faith or the crown can have the power. She was shut out from her son by Margerie, so she thought by giving favors to the faith, then she could rule through them. But now that that's backfired on her, she realizes that she has better luck trying to rule through her son.

The Jon Sansa reunion was lowkey one of the best moments of the show. I was so annoyed at Jon though. This was the episode Sansa became more of a main player too. I really wanted to her meet Melisandre and learn some magic.
Why were you annoyed at Jon?

Just a small bit of trivia for non-book readers: The first Night’s Watchman, Ser Waymar Royce, killed by the White Walkers in the prolog of the first episode, in the first season, was a younger son of Lord Royce. The very first on-screen death in GoT.
@Arshija Bordbar Ye, in the books there are so much more details about all kinds of family connections between the various houses. Like Sam’s mother being a first cousin of Selyse Florent, the crazy wife of King Stannis, or Jorah Mormont being an uncle by marriage to Loras and Margery Tyrell. The expensive wife Jorah mentioned was their mother’s sister.

Greyscale is passed by touching infected skin, or by touching an item that has been infected, (which is how Shireen got it). Jorah won't pass it on by touching people, not until it spreads to his hands. Though I don't know how saliva works in that situation.
The books are way more fleshed out and have a lot of extra characters and storylines which they cut for the show. The story is way more complex because of that. :)

If you want to understand the Dothraki, watch season 1 again. It covered a lot of the culture for the show.
When you finish this season, think back to those people who moaned about season six (and sometimes season five) and see what they would have made you miss had you taken their advice seriously.

I'm so proud to have witnessed the longest intro ever. I loved it. Now you have to break the record.
As others have said, the last two seasons were rushed but I don't think they were bad. Lots of action and wrapping up of plots. Some may not have ended the way people had liked but I still enjoyed them. There were some "short cuts" and or mistakes that happened in the earlier seasons before the show passed the books that people were fine with but now all of a sudden they were unforgivable after.
An example for me is remember way back in season 1 when Jamie fought Ned in the courtyard? Jamie clearly said "take lord Stark prisoner and kill his men." Well, they killed his men and wounded Ned but just left him there and didn't take him prisoner. If that had happened after the show passed the books, people would have had a fit. But because it happened before, no one ever mentions it. Another, why didn't Rob just marry Walter Frey's daughter and keep the other as his mistress? Why didn't he just marry here after the war was over? I think there are 19 forts on the wall and only 3 are manned. Why are the wildlings attacking one of the three manned forts. Or, why not just go around the wall at the waters edge instead of over it? The dude that was marrying his daughters and having kids with them. He's the only man in that settlement. Why aren't other people attacking him and taking his wives? There are lots of examples of small mistakes and inconsistencies in the early seasons that people don't say a word about. But have major problems with in the later seasons.
For me, seasons 5 and 6 are the best ones. It's from midseason 7 till the end where the show becomes worse, and I'm one of the few that liked the ending (although I think it could have been much better if the last season was made better/longer).

Suzy and Steejo Most casual fans who were introduced into GOTverse by watching the show, initially thought seasons 1-6 were a masterpiece. After reading the books, they started seeing the show as a generic B level fantasy show. The books are on a completely different tier compared to the show.

Season 6 is phenomenal, people who don’t like it generally think the writing isn’t as “smart” (and therefore not as “good”) but generally speaking the whole series CAN be enjoyable, many of my friends even liked Season 8
I loved season 7 even though I had big issues with it and season 8 I was disappointed by even though there is still good things to appreciate
I like S6 better than S5 tbh. So many epic episodes this season!
S6 is phenomenally directed, but the script has plot wholes so big, that even a dragon could it in them.

Ramsey because he is smart and skilled.
Both are psychopaths but the difference between them is that Ramsay is smart and knows exactly what he is doing, whereas Joffrey is stupid and acting cruel on a whim without thinking.

I've watched the show and read the books and appreciated them both. Books of course have more story and I loved it. The show, I love how the show was done except season 8. That's the only thorn in my side.

The only thing that didn’t make sense in th last scene was this, why were the Dothraki behind the burning building kneeling? Obviously they could not have seen her come out the front door, and had no idea what was going on. Why would they randomly kneel at the sight of a burning building?
I suspect it's because they saw everyone else doing it. Not because they saw a building on fire. Herd mentality.

My pug Woofy is 16. Diet exercise and love help in extending their lives and gives them a better quality of life than feeding them garbage marketed as 'healthy' and not excising them and ignoring them at home which happens.
BTW, what I do requires papers being written. Publish or perish. I'm considering writing a paper about Woofy as I have his vet papers, his diet and exercise regime, his family history through the vet and breeder and his lifestyle conditions. If it helps any other family having these special fur babies live longer with a better quality of life, worth it. I don't get paid to publish things I believe are for everyone. Tesla thought the same and someone stole that.

At this point cersei does need the tyrells to do the dirty work. She doesnt care about loras or margaery. But if the tyrells crush High Sparrow. that means she is safe! But we all know, that cersei may or may not betray them!
Most people do not understand the situation with High Sparrow and Tommen... and why the king doesnt slaughter them all. People assume that tommen is too weak! But in fact, Tommen wasnt educated to be a king. Plus if he do anything, a civil war will happen! also we cannot forget, that Tommen is naive and thinks, that his duty is to protect the people! Also, this season is more political, that each player makes a move and things happens in episodes later!

The books don’t go to season 6 and it’s after season 6 that isn’t the best but I still watched and enjoyed the show enough to make me watch house of the dragon ❤
IMO season 6 is quite good though, like legitimately one of my favorite seasons of the show. Every episode is a banger. I'd say after this season you do notice a pretty steep decline both in episode amounts and quality overall, but there are still good episodes in the coming seasons

Yes, I would venture to guess that a lot of your viewers are listening on headphones. And also that a lot of us are neurodivergent, have extremely sensitive hearing, and can have panic attacks and/or meltdowns when surprised with extremely loud sounds (which is probably, in part, why we're wearing headphones in the first place). So, my question is: why would you suddenly be loud intentionally and then mock people (who are supporting your video by watching it, no less) who actually experience physical and/or emotional pain when you do it? It's not funny, it's genuinely painful and upsetting. Please be a little more empathetic.
2 Goldfish stories. 1 funny, 1 not, but if I don't laugh I would've been reduced to a puddle 20 years ago. 1. My friend's Daughter when she was Lil had a goldfish she named after my Daughter, Kaili (Steejo..her DNA came back 38% Scottish btw). Anyway. Everytime the fish would die she wouldn't tell her Daughter, just kept replacing Kaili. Emma never knew. 2. I am permanently disabled from a 2003 car wreck because of a focking goldfish. A dingbat was going about 65 mph from one pet store to another and ran a stop sign and t-boned my van. My Son Anthony was 3, trapped in the car. No doubt she was on her phone 5pm. Probably just got out of work. She hit us 2 times. How? I don't focking know, but she admitted it. She ran up to the can, knew my boy was trapped. My purse and phone went flying. I saw her (still didn't know she was the one who hit us yet). I said "Did you call 911?" She said "no I called my husband". Well who knows if I jacked my back up even worse, but I jumped out and started screaming at her. Yep, the Boston Chick came right out in me. So, I end up with a ruptured disc, a fragment severed my S1 nerve, so I have permanent foot drop. Had 4 years of physical therapy to learn how to bring my leg and hip forward to walk again. Recuperating from my 9th surgery right now. Anthony even though he was trapped and the window was shattered behind him from the 2nd hit (back bumper landed infront of the van). Had no physical injuries. Just got his driving permit, but never wanted to drive. I can tell the story better and more animated in person,because I have her stupid voice down to a T. So. There are my goldfish stories. I now have birds and dogs. No desire to have fish like when I was younger. I'd say more, but the yellow man will find me
the show over did it with dany being immune to fire. Why would there ever be a dance with dragons if targs were immune to fire?
