    I'm getting a slow red flash with A361, no idea if it's a problem or not? I have a Lennox El296V that was installed last fall.

    Don't forget to buy an extra circuit board for when it goes bad next year!

      Dealt with the same issue in fall of 2018. Old board was throwing E270. Did everything. Bought a new board. Worked all the way up to now….Here I’am fall of 2022 dealing with the same issue and code(E270). Lennox is ridiculous

      @@Kiddro22 - so sorry to hear of more furnace troubles. Given this is your second blown board, I would strongly recommend that you install a whole-house surge protector in your main circuit-breaker box, as it sounds like your power company is delivering damaging power surges. Have you had any boards on Stoves, Refridgerators or washing machines blow out too? We had a tankless water heater that gave us similar troubles for the first couple of years. After we put in the surge protection (EATON whole house unit in the breaker panel ($150), plus a small dedicated protector for the heater), the tankless and other home electronics have been rock solid for 16 years.
      Our Lennox furnace has been rock solid, and I credit (in part) to adding protection from our utility's frequent power surges.

      @@WakeUpAmerican000s No boards blown on any other components in the home. Ironically, I cleaned a few connections when I got home from work. Other than throwing E270. It started throwing E125. Then it cycled up on one try and stayed on till it reached the desired temp the thermostat was set to. I know these Lennox’s are very iffy when there’s a poor grounding connection. So that’s when I came to the conclusion that it has to be the board or a grounding issue. I will definitely look into that whole home surge protector. That makes sense. Thanks!

      @@Kiddro22 - Glad to hear that you got it working. Knock on wood, our Lennox has not thrown errors yet, but I keep reading that the pressure switches are prone to failure after a few years.
      We got totally spoiled by our previous Amana 96% AFUE unit that required only a new ignitor in the 25 years we had it.

    How to clear the code?

  • @scaldwell7478
    @scaldwell7478 3 роки тому

    As long as we know sequence of operation we don’t need error codes. I’m a 20 yr service tech and we are a Lennox dealer. Yes error codes help junior techs , but are not needed until you get into communicating systems with s30 stats. I challenge all techs to try and find the problem without error , especially with Lennox as the boards will give false codes that wil lead to you chasing your tail.
