@@aadigard85 so much fun! Unfortunately I and two others got altitude sickness at high camp (17,500) but the rest of our team made it to the summit successfully on day 11. My profile picture is now a pic of me on the ridge right below high camp!
Great filming of this spectacular mountain, good story. Building the snow cave was creative. Hope you can make it back to Denali, but even if you don't, this was a perfect ending.
Great videography! And you guys did everything right in training, preparation, and execution of the climb - very well prepared and safe. The good summit days are always fleeting on Denali - and especially in 2023. Hope you go back and are successful in summiting! It took me three trips (one with my dad!) and 85 total days to succeed.
Bummer you guys couldn't have made the top with your dad! Much props and appreciation to a family adventure. I got to fly around that mountain back in 2001 and it was absolutely incredible. An adventure I will never forget.
Thanks for this inspiring video and giving a realistic portrayal. Part of doing something this epic is knowing you can fail to meet your objective. Like others have said, hope you make it back and fantastic cinematography. Hoping to make it myself in 2025. I’ll be turning 50 then. I’ve already started my training. Hoping to get up to rainier and a few other major climbs. I’m on the east coast, so do you want a lot of winter climbing on the presidential’s.
Awesome video! Suck you couldn't summit, but like you said, the reality of climbing Denali Can you do a video of how you trained? That would be awesome and helpful. would like to summit denali before turning 35-40 yrs old
@tuanminhnguyen231 Most Spanish speaking countries and a few other European countries consider them the same continent but most English speaking countries use the 7 continent model. It’s not just the USA that teaches the 7 continent model.
How things have changed. In the mid-1970s - six of us walked in from Wonder Lake -- a 4-5 day adventure in itself. Now everyone flies in..... Oh well...........
One of the better Denali vlogs I've seen. Hope you get to go back!
Thanks!
Such a sick snow cave
Thank you for sharing this! Sorry you guys didn't get to summit, but I loved the views and I'm jealous of your ice cave!
I’m going to Denali in June!hopefully we will have good weather ❤
me too! just a few more days for me, good luck!

I learned that geography classes in some other countries teach people that Denali & Aconcagua are on the same continent.
Yeah, some places consider North and South America as the same continent for some reason.
@@counterfit5literally every where in the world consider North America and South America as the same continent ( except the USA )

Kinco gloves are the tool of a true mountaineer
What was the name of song used in background?? Great video bdw
Great video sometimes it’s just not meant to be gotta listen to the mountain at least you lived to tell the story
Was this a guided trip or did your group go without a guide service?
Guided
