If it can not even latch on to the phones GPS from it's fitness app then it's virtually pointless in my humble opinion. You gave more info than all the other videos I have seen Michael. Well done and as always, many thanks.

24/7 continuos SPO2 in low cost fitness watches is actually very rare.
It's a buy for me.
Yeah, the only two other watches that I've tested and have it are GT 2 Pro and Ticwatch Pro 3.

The TFT display is a bummer but probably one reason they were able to keep the price so low. It really has every function to track your fitness of you don't care about maps or exact distance. Seems great for gym workouts...
Yeah, I also believe the TFT display is clearly there in order to keep the price low.

I've worn/used this watch for about a week now.... at first I was impressed, but not now. Over the past couple of days, the "raise to wake" function has become very erratic, and more times then not, simply does not work. At first the SP02 reading was within 1-2 points of a calibrated finger oximeter, but again, over the past couple of days has gone as far as 10-12 points off in either direction. It seems that just about every function has gone haywire. The watch is fully charged, and nothing has changed between now and the date of it's arrival. I've also reset it several times, trying to get the functionality/accuracy back, but it hasn't improved. Besides the functions failing, the app is also lacking. At first I thought this would be the "cheap" smart watch to beat....but it's turned into a dismal disappointment. Frankly, its not near the device that the Amazfit Bip Pro is, and with the Bip Pro being priced at $59 right now, it makes this watch that much less appealing.
Hey Ed, thanks for sharing all that. One thing that comes on my mind - is the strap tight enough around your wrist? These sensors rely on contact with your body.
But I do agree - the Bip Pro is also a great choice
@@TechMishka I tried various levels of wristband tightness once the readings started getting wacky... it made no difference. The day after I wrote my first comment, the "raise to wake" function failed completely. That was enough for me to pack it up and return it for a refund. It went back yesterday. The one thing I did like about the TicWatch GTH over amazfit, is it's full time monitoring SP02.
Not sure which watch I'll end up keeping..... Amazfit is having a sale on their site right now.... I just ordered the GTS 2 Mini for $79... we'll see how it performs.
@@TechMishka I'm just gettin my feet wet in the Smartwatch world, and most of my info has come from videos and reviews such as yours..... my main interest in a watch/OS that offers full time/automatic SP02 monitoring. I jumped on the TicWatch because of the claims it made about 02 monitoring, that I've not seen/read on other smart watches. I'd be happy to hear your insights/recommendations for a smart watch that performs well in the area of monitoring SP02. THANKS!
I have this watch for 2 months now, used it to monitor everything when I had covid. It works well, no issues, except the notifications, which are not useful that much... I didn't have any issues with the sensors. Yeah the SPO2 can show bad results sometimes, when measuring it for someone else for example. In short period, but in long it is pretty good still. I had one firmware update meanwhile, maybe that will help. Otherwise your unit is probably flawed...

Try some 2022 devices. Mi Band 7 does a good job, so does Amazfit Band 7. Huawei Watches traditionally are good at SpO2 tracking.
Out of this watch , the mi watch lite, the amazfit bip u pro , and the ls02 which one is better for casual use
I haven't tried the Bip U pro, but for sure I can also recommend the Mi Watch lite.

That I can't say based on experience. I think the Bip U pro will have more polished software. Just a guess though.

The GTS 2 mini has a lot nicer display and more features. GTH has a good working temperature sensor.

Oh, that sometimes is tricky with these watches... You have to enable location services on the phone and refresh the app data.

5. If buy GTH in China, you will not able to see any letters but Chinese only!

1. VIbration is just fine with my unit, but if you feel like it's weak - make sure to submit this as feedback to Mobvoi.
2. I had issues with step tracking at the start, but was quite the opposite.
4. There's a new version of the app now - much better.
5. Make sure to double check before you buy if not from Amazon or Mobvoi - there are plenty of sellers that trick us in ordering things that are not according to the description.
