This surah was recited by Gabriel to the prophet Mohammed, upon him, be peace, when he thought that God had abandoned him because he had not contacted him for two years. Prophet Mohammed, upon him be peace, was worried. He had been waiting for a message for two years and didn't get any. He told God, please don't forget me and God responded with this surah.
