On the written instructions it says to fold the 1 inch binding strip lengthwise, right sides together. I thin it should say wrong sides together. Unless I am reading it incorrectly.

Cute pattern. My mother used to make these with an inset chimney so the tissue would look like smoke rising out.
I started making them years ago with plastic canvas & my mom took off with that idea! I have several she made 😊😊
