- My cherokee cousins, Red Fourkiller and his wife, Gin Stufflebeam Fourkiller, re-formed the Chieften Quartet in 1972;;On this first album they recorded this song in english and cherokee.

They used to come to Piney School and sing. They even used our old piano. I remember Little Billy playing it. Who were the originals if anyone knows? I can close my eyes and see and hear them, but other than Commodore and Gin and Billy, I'm lost on names.

If you want to know who the original singers were,call a ( GEORGE BUNCH),, greasy community, south of stilwell, oklahoma..he sang with them for many years.
