on another note i was playing with randoms and they were on the otherside of the map. I called evac but had pelican helping us. i told them in chat i wasnt leaving. When they finally get over some dude runs straight for the exit and the countdown starts. The host and a random die but because the countdown started i got on(we had no reinforcements left). As soon as the dude died he was in chat “wtf was that” “you said you werent gonna mf leave” cursing up a storm. Then i got kicked.

I think I tried to do that when I fell in one of the holes, but if you shoot the ground the nades clip through it, and sometimes on the walls too... Sometimes they bounce and do get the job done though

Your yapping is honestly what makes these videos very enjoyable for me. It adds so much more for the gameplay, even if what you're saying has nothing to do with the game. Also, I'm glad to see you taking a step towards having fun yourself, not playing solo as much, instead of sticking to what you're probably used to and making money off of. It's more fun to watch someone having fun themselves. Also, "Wilbur" is just such a good way to refer to the critters that I've been unconsciously using it among my friend group and confusing the hell out of them lol
12:28 Would love a big brother revolver to the P4-Senator called the P2-President that carries 3 heavy armour piercing rounds. Modelled after the Rsh-12 with an elongated 3 round cylinder and it would feature a heavy recoil and round by round reload since it only carries 3 and I think a speed loader would make it OP.
definitely need another revolver that actually feels like a fictional hand cannon. The current revolver feels way too tame.
Also they need to fix the damn primaries/secondaries only reloading half per resupply (especially grenade pistol)
I want to love the Airburst Launcher but so far I only ever see it detonate in front of the first available target which means half of its debris completely misses any and all enemies.
Even if you fire in the middle of a group, it wouldn't kill more than 60% of them, unless in the rare occasions when it's a group of Wilburs or troopers, good fuckin luck if there's devastators, scout striders, hiveguards, brood com, 4/5 times will do nothing to them. When the game spams out a group every 10s and you reload for 7, it's as fun as chewing concrete
@@caspianconstantine27I usually have a good time with the airbust rocket but I use is as crowd control the heavier stuff can be dealt with the heavier equipment
@@caspianconstantine27i after playing it over and over I noticed the explosion stack better when you shoot directly in the ground instead of 5-10m above target, it’s more concentrated and brood commander and green bile spewer who tend to survive get one hit aswel, btw you can close fabricator from behind with air burst and one shot tank and turret
My problem it takes too long to reload
I definitely take less reload time even a bit more explosion or making them a bit more powerful for consistency, i like to run it with rocket and auto canon sentry to deal with heavy bug while you clear pack of smaller target, you can setup on a hill for the team it’s very effective combo

@OhDough. A workaround was found regarding Recoiless Rifle and EAT vs Behemoth. Issue was that the weapons left behemoth leg on 1 hp. Workaround is: you have to move towards charger while firing. You don't need much, just to increase dmg by 1.

I've known for a while, it's just not worth using since anti-tank weapons are kinda bad atm. with how many chargers there are you're better off killing them with flame thrower or primary weapons and just using 500kg/precision strike for bile titans.

For all you throwing pointy stuff enjoyers, the servo-pervo armour perk (30% throwing range) affects knifes. It's not much but it's a thing.
Yeah it’s a nice bonus but it fucks with my muscle memory when swapping between armors that aren’t servo assisted.

God those first few minutes are just the epitome of modern online gaming. Multiplayer has the ability to simultaneously be a game's single greatest asset, and its single worst aspect. I will say as a "boomer" (to these new zoomers), it's definitely seeming to trend more toward the 'getting worse' side. Back in the day of 90s into the 00s, the community that sprung up around a game seemed to be more... I don't know the best word to describe it. Maybe protective? Accepting? Welcoming? Nonchalant? I just can't find the right word to describe it. But any other old fogies who lived through it knows that sentiment.
Back then, there wasn't any Steam or Epic and thousands of games to choose from. With everyone having access to 100 different free-to -plays and having a backlog of games 3 miles long you've never touched. We valued the games we played because we really couldn't just drop it and have 15 other games in the same genre to go choose to play. There weren't a bunch of people on Twitch playing games as a job, being a dancing monkey hoping for donations and bits, dancing anytime some random dude tipped you a dollar and said dance monkey. There was no "MLG" where anyone gave a single crap how good some dude was except inside that secular community of that one game. But now these kids think if they act sweaty enough they'll be the ones filling a stadium of people who want to see their 360 noscope skills or get a bunch of fake internet points on some subreddit or tweet for their 1337 h@x0r sk!llz. Of course there were always asshats but the amount of chill people who just wanted to play a game and forget the real world for a few minutes used to outnumber 'em 50 to 1. The people who would laugh when they accidentally got killed and instead of cussing you out or acting like a 12 year old in an Xbox Live CoD lobby, would say in chat "Top 10 greatest anime betrayals" or some dude with hundreds/thousands of hours in D2 after running out of storage space and needing to clear it would open a lobby for nublets to join and give away gear. The amount of fun I had in the early days of online gaming going from TCP/IP to early MMOs with things like Freelancer, various Trek games, Ultima Online, early WoW, Diablo, Gamespy stuff, the list goes on. I had few interactions that'd just totally sour your gameplay, whereas today it's freakin a coin toss if some douche or sweaty tryhard is going to just suck the wind out of your sails and make you question why you even logged in.
was an all stalker/shadow mission you could get in HD1 as well, but it was on difficulties beyond helldive (so added post launch)
I'd really like Orbital Railcannon to fire in a salvo of 2 or 3 like orbital airburst (targetting the largest living enemy each shot). Makes it more consistent against large enemies, most of the time won't be a huge change because it will merc the largest and then probably waste a shot on a weaker guy, and very rarely will triple 1 tap 2 or 3 bile titans. Still would be weaker than laser.
I've had decent luck using the air fryer for bell peppers. "The potatoes are hot, but the tray isn't. Oh crap its hot now." 😂
The new 110 rocket pods are now a decent option if a bile survives the first headshot

I'm still hoping they fix the thermite grenades and the purifier. I really had high hopes that thermite grenades would strip armor kinda like how railgun does. I'm also still hoping they'll make bile titans more interesting to fight kinda like the factory strider instead of their current solution of just removing most of them from the game.
I wonder where the game goes from here. I just can't imagine anything is ready yet enemy or faction wise. I'd imagine they'll throw another stratagem mission at us soon that hopefully isn't AT mines. There also supposedly some super long swedish summer holidays that go till mid august.

I'll admit that I haven't been playing Helldivers for two months due to the massive bugs, balance problems, and updates that break just as many thing as they fix. But didn't they already fix the Spear? Wasn't that in the patch notes almost a month ago? Geeze, this game really is fundamentally broken, isn't it? I really really wanted to love Helldivers, but the balance an inability to patch bugs just killed all the fun I had early on.

You can get a pretty consistent 1 shot kill on behemoth using the spear. If you line up a lock while facing them at "acceptable range" for the missile to hit, and you sprint and jump when you fire, it can 1 tap them.
My brother in Christ, you are one of the few voices of wisdom and good common sense when it comes to this game. I've come to rely very heavily on your content because every community needs a good whistleblower. I don't mean that in just the traditional sense either; this game needs someone that calls out both the devs and the community for making dumb moves. There isn't a single video of yours that I've watched that I've disagreed with, even remotely. Whenever there is a patch/major balancing change or a new xpac comes out, you're the person I turn to for a reliable take on it. You don't need to change.
There should be an upgrade where Railcannon fire two shots, targeting two targets.
The number of times I and other players get killed by that hive buster bomb is just obscene, it's been a couple weeks now and I'm still seeing sometimes the entire team just get wiped by it because whatever timer there is that plays... I mean I just don't notice it 9/10 because I am too busy gunning down bugs.
The nuke holes are so funny but annoying. So many teammates try to help me kill a charger when i stun and burn it even though I clearly have it sorted and a teammate used a 500kg, the blast knocked me in the hole. Luckily it straight up killed me and I'd already dropped the super rares off, I didnhave to without my backpack and flamethrower a few minutes, it made me so glad i use the arc12 blitzer so ammo is never an issue

Spear has been very consistent and useful against titans and destroying the flying bug spawner.
29:50 when are they gonna fix that, the brood commander's charge attack didn't actually hit you but it still showed the dazed screen effect.
Spear is probably the most powerful Support weapon to deal with heavies now, the downside is the low ammo capacity, It can one shot both Charger behemoth and standard, it can oneshot bile titan if it direct hit on the forehead, it Oneshot hulk if it hit the heatsink, it oneshot tank, and send a big MIDDLE FINGER to any bot Outpost.

Is it just me, or do they need to add some sort of end game mission ie a raid or some sort of actual objective. It feels weird playing the same cut/paste objectives over and over for no real reason.
I used to love raids in Destiny 2, Warframe (Still mad they removed them) ect. would be nice to have some high stakes high reward endgame.

An reliable way i found to kill Behemoths is, use 1 rocket in any of their legs, then use air strafe on that leg and it dies, saves you from using another rocket which helps since they arent cheap to just use on either EATS or Recoiless
I use that combo on bile titans too, with quasar

I just realized his red wall is kinda epic.
The spear getting fixed finally was such a relief simce it was my.most used item probably. (I like having 3 stratagems) except they broke superior packaging, and it hurt the ammo economy. With packaging fixed the spear can finally move up in rank.
Playing with people is more fun anyways, i like using whacky strategem combos, and just enjoy seeing all the strategems being used.
If you change back all your camo to the base one the ammo ship modules work at least for me on ps5
SPM got fixed yesterday (server side, no patch). Except it only works if someone with SPM calls in the resupply now. And it does not work via supply packs.

Bile Titans I feel got a buff, since I haven't been able to kill them with one Eagle 500 in a while.
PFFFF, the random behaviour of chargers is one of the most irritating things for me! The way that one knocked you down but then pulled a tight 60 degree turn to you to crush you, I've only seen them do that a couple of times. I really don't enjoy their random behaviour. The constant latency related glitches where they slide across terrain diagonally like they're drifting. Where they slide up sheer cliff edges and when they stop they're stuck at the top of something they should just fall off but don't. It's just an unenjoyable gameplay experience unless you annihilate them instantly.
When they're standing still stunned and suddenly accelerate like they're stood on a treadmill, with no animation toward you at full speed and you die, this one is my least favourite and makes me wanna headbutt myself in the testicles
Im sorry but i hope throwing knife and flamethrower deleting chargers is a bug.
Flamethrower should make more damage to the head and body in this instance, would be OK if we had to spend whole magazine for this
But a butter knife should bounce of charger armor every fricking time, it makes no sense...

I enjoy both bots and bugs, though I can see why someone might prefer bots. They feel much more like a standard shooter (by virtue alone of them also having guns lol), and they’re a kind of challenge and aesthetic that you just don’t get with bugs
It's a good move that you play the game for its goofy team nature instead of grinding solo because it's a bigger challenge.

Spear is better for bots. Great for killing those turret towers at a distance with 0 risk. Sometimes can kill jammer towers without setting foot in the area. Also works well on gunships.

In my personal opinion, 2 is the perfect number for 9. It's challenging but doesn't feel unfair. Given you're playing with a premade.
I've been using Spear + Jar-5 lately and it's very fun and satisfying if you win the loadout dice roll and don't land on a hunter planet. Jar-5 destroys everything else.

same goes for me. The moment I ever take off plasma punisher for incendiary breaker we get spewers. Every single time
@mrROAR104 Spewers and hunters are definitely the most problematic enemies, and not having an option to deal with one or the other makes for a rough 40 minutes. We complain that we get wet when it rains because we didn't bring an umbrella, how are we supposed to know? There's no weather channel.
Get the mouth guard brother, get a good one. In my thirties now and really regret not using one when younger, trust me!
It 100% is. I remember how the spear would hit bile titans in the head like 90% of the time as long as you stood in front of them. Now it never ever fucking does it. A sneaky nerf the community missed. This game is fucking dead.
headshots for all rockets on titans have been fucked for quite some time now, ever since they "fixed" them not being able to spew themselves to death
you should 100% buy a mouth guard if your grinding your teeth, if u ignore it you'll grind your teeth down to the nerve endings and its very sensitive and potentially painful. Happened to my dad.

For that "stalker gamemode" It would either be incredibly unbalanced (run out of ammo instantly/ overwhelmed) Or there would be like 4 stalkers per objective to balance out the fact its a heavy enemy, it would be fun dont get me wrong but they would need to redesign an already existing mission that isnt an exterminate mission because that would remove the point of cloaking saboteur bugs, an escort mission would probably do well with a vehicle they were leaking a long while back but thats my idea for a heavy units exclusively mission

I am back again to just logging in every few days to get my medals and other than that its just watching videos about helldivers and waiting, I made my own fun for a few days because I farmed and bought some new warbonds and had new weapons to play with (plas 101 is meh but fun to use) and I had a great time for one weekend but as I said the patch did basically nothing, an empty patch with a lot of text and maybe 10 actual slight changes, that thing could have been cooked in like 2 weeks if they understood their own code and game
