- Welcome everyone to my “What’s New” video of the 2024 Nissan Qashqai.
The updates to the 2024 Qashqai are a little more than skin deep.
We have a new trim level N-Design.
Added to the car are Google Assist, alcantara, a larger screen and dials that final glow the colour depending on you drive mode selection!!!!
With the Qashqai’s exterior we have a new front and rear grills, bumpers and lights with a Samurai Armour grill up front incorporating some copper accents and boomerang DRL’s. These actually compliment the second DRL’s which look very Juke-ish and incorporate scrolling/dynamic indicators.
Drive wise the Qashqai hasn’t changed and still has a lovely drive to it. With a fine balance of ride comfort and sharp handling.
Engines remain the same with 2 mild-hybrids, featuring 2/4WD, manual or X-Tronic boxes.
Pictured is the E-Powered version which still features its unique power plant and drive where the engine never sends power to the front wheels and acts as a generator.
Compared to my ’22 Tekna + the front grill has changed but, I don’t see a huge difference and the inside looks very similar also, not sure about the suede fabric, might stain badly, think I prefer the faux leather dash ……Thanks for the vid 👍
Love the rear seat cameo! 😄
Great video, cracking family car.
You enlightened it perfectly and it made such a big difference to make decisions 👍🏾
will be great to see software update to google in previous Qashqai as well
Thanks for this review, the first I have seen on this updated Qashqai. Exterior looks much better, especially the front. Liking that green too. Some nice thoughtful changes inside, although, I would like to see a non-reflective surface on top of the dash, to stop all those reflections on the inside of the screen. When will car manufacturers get that right? I have a '22 reg Tekna + that has spent the last 10 weeks in the garage because the battery discharges randomly it seems, and so far Nissan UK have been unable to find a fix for it.
I was going to order it in 'gun metal grey' but this green looks great too & really shows of the front better.
Great car, got the pre-facelift with nice discount 3 months ago, amazing value!
Getting our 2 year old tomorrow. Great value N-Style.
I ordered mine just over a week ago & got it 8 days later. I wanted the green but a 4-5 month wait, so got it in Gun Metal, looks great. It was the e-Power Vers & the manual is 500 pages long, all in English, 500!
I've got gun metal on my previous gen Qashqai, it's a really nice colour.
I think the green colour is bloody lovely as well👍
Not hard to compete with Stellantis because they put a shitty PureTech engine in every single model....
much improved front and back wish they would get rid of the parcel shelf and instead put a slide system
Disagree, I’ve got a slide system on my Kia and I hate it.
Thanks to your video I have bought one love the colour as well.
I bloody agree with you looks fantastic I think there’s a touch of Peugeot in the grill.
Will this be the 2025 murano in the us?
What about the most important part of the car , the ( Engine ) ??? Great review though. Thanks👍👍
Thanks for the review. I have been leasing a 2024 N-connecta E-power for about 6 weeks now & really enjoy driving it. One small bugbear is that every time the engine is switched off & back on I am prompted to accept or decline the Nissan tracking. Is there any way to get it to remember my choice? Thanks again.
Does that tracking help in when its stolen?
New massive grill , great insect catcher 😅
WHAT MODEL IS THIS
great car but the hybrid system on the PH1 had so many issues all around the world. not sure if they updated it as well ? otherwise, can't trust this car
When are you looking at the new Peugeot 3008 fast back
Strangely enough I was looking both these cars, but decided on the Qashqai E power.
09:58 - "Burnt Umber" it's Brown .. Why Nissan, WHY !! The blue trim on the previous Tekna level was fine, why go 40 years retro back to the 1980's and shove a vile brown into the mix. It's not even a little bit brown .. everywhere you look, it's BROWN ! :(
Nissan is definitely getter better
Has it got satnav
Hi Kim, thank you for your comment. Yes it does. That point on the video where I’m dragging Google earth is the say-nav.
Thanks.
Not in the Acenta Premium, which I got. Sat Navs should be compulsory in all new cars, it could save your life.
too much is going on for the front,i do no like it
Steering too light and suspension rolls badly in the corners not enjoyable to drive at all.
Issues with auto hold system takes 2 seconds to activate it should be instant.
Being a bit more presentable ,it would definitely help it is not walk to the pub on Thursday afternoon.
Hi there Dean. Thanks for your comment.
As this was an overseas launch and hotter temps than the UK. The average bear would struggle wearing jeans in this environment and would be sweating all over. If you are a regular to the channel you’ll know I do present my myself with Jeans and a AB top.
I do apologise as my sexy legs can be distracting!
@@AutoBearsignore that comment. You are giving a car review not fashion. As long as you are not offensive in what you wear, I don’t care
@@Davev177I wore my flairs in the 70s & looking back they are offensive now! Its a democracy.
Ppl claiming disability benefits normally buy them. Would the government let them buy if the price is £40K?
We dont buy them. I'm a Motability user & you are given a disability payment which you can use for taxis etc, or you can lease a vehicle of your choice & I am grateful for it & the manufacturers who agreed to do it & for them its a good thing as it gets them their market share & puts their cars on show & Motability was created to administer it. We have to put down a deposit for dearer cars, & on this car you need to pay about £2500 plus your disability payments each month. Cheaper cars would be either a few hundred deposit or none. Google Motability & you can see every car & their deposits needed. This idea has now been made so that anyone can now lease a new car for about the same money tho with a deposit needed & many people now do it than buy outright. Its also a showcase for the EV & Hybrid cars & get people interested which the Govt wants like it or not.
😮Well done sir and not in the iconic car country like portugal LOL in a left hand drive, like the previous vids a few days before . Ps last samurai ( sod historic al facts ) excellent , especially the main character played brilliantly by ken watasomething . He now looks like a old chainsmoking police dad in the current series tokyo vice , if you haven't seen it , take a peek. Oh its still left hand drive , oh your in Portugal ?? Why ,when there made up north in England . Pathetic.
.
Awful interior though, dated for a 2024 car.
Do not buy this vehicle. This CVT is a mess. Pure transmission problems.
You write nonsense. The version in the video is e-Power, it does not have CVT. The mHEV version has a CVT gearbox with gear simulation. I have been driving this mHEV for two years and it works very well. Zero problems.
Don’t be silly.
Zero problems As well for three years. These problems mainly concerned America where drivers cover large distances and often tow heavy trailers. There were also problems because the gearbox oil was not of the right quality, currently Nissan uses ns3. In addition, they have greatly improved these gearboxes by using a second electric oil pump. when I talked to my friendly garage about changing the gearbox oil after 40,000 they said that I don't have to do it at all but if I want I can do it after 70,000 km because they do not record practically any problems with these gearboxes in Ireland, so it is not worth repeating old news, since for a few last years Nissan has put a lot of effort into the quality of these gearboxes. For example old Volvo automatic gearboxes were good and now some people have a lot of problems after only 70 000 km, so all this is changing dynamically and it is better not to mislead anyone and scare them unnecessarily😉
£43 grand. No thanx cars are far to expensive in current market, paying heating bills more important, it’s £10 grand to much
Smart looking car inside and out, great colour too.
Initially I wasn't keen on the front with some colours but this green really suits the big grill like it's gonna eat you up
I love the new look. It has a,l ways been a really good car.
The 2022 Qashqai stood out, this new one looks like a copy of the Hyundai Tucson's grille. I'll stick with my 'old' version
I don’t suppose they can change too much because of costs, if the base model suddenly costs 38k then potential buyers will look elsewhere.
I’m so in love with the colour😍
No glasses holder ?
Nissan cash cow 🤑
CVT
Nice
No details on the engine?
Hi there.
Thanks for your comment.

@@AutoBears Thank you.
Fair dues to Nissan, they've continued to make the once excellent Qashqai look like a bag of shit.
Whoever is designing the inside of this car needs to be sacked!! First it was a blue and now it’s got even worse with the brown, wtf!!! and Alcantara on the dashboard, and the armrest is just ridiculous. I’m out!!!
Why? Lambo's have been putting Alcantara on the dashboard, and the armrest for over a decade and every creams themselves over it.
