Pooja Biswas. Good question. If you connect an Excel file from Google Sheets, the changes in the Excel file will get refreshed on Tableau Public Desktop as well.

Can Tableau public connect to an SQL database ? MSSQL for example ?

Mohamed, As far as I know, we cannot connect to a SQL database in Tableau Public. We definitely need to have the paid version to accomplish that task.
