- The wife and daughter of former Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel charged with stealing taxpayers' money to lead extravagant lives may never go to trial.
Misty and Kasey Noel were in court on Monday to discuss plans for their trial. But now a plea deal could be in the works. Misty faces 10 felony charges of theft and tax evasion. Her daughter Kasey is also charged.
Jamey Noel is scheduled to be sentenced on 27 felonies on Oct. 14.

You know mother and daughter knew her husband and dad weren't legally making all that money. They should be held responsible. There are grown ups they knew all that money wasn't being made on his job.

If any other citizen was involved in a case where the state was after larger fish? They'd be offered a deal too.

The judge should skip the plea, they have had enough time to come up with an plea offer, so the judge should step in now and help them out with sentencing.
