Was hoping you had the white/purple so I could see what it looks like. I'm like you. I have the all white, the grey/green and managed to get my hands on the friends and family pair
S1 only con is that inner TPU wedge cage will dig into your foot arches causing pain and discomfort when standing or walking.a major bummer as this is a cool looking adidas shoe.
The S1 packaging is on Y-3 level (not including the Parley version). I need to grab a pair of these. For me the Retropy E5 has become my favorite new Adidas Boost shoe.
‘Agreed regarding the S1 in standard and RYAT iterations. It appears to be something out of the Fifth Element wardrobe. Korben Dallas would most definitely rock the RYAT. NIGO and Pharrell did something extra special with the adi-archives and engineering-design teams. The midsole and outsole repurposes the shape and stylish utility of past Formel/Racing 1, Marathon/Micropacer and SL road-to-track shoes. Cup mid/outsoles are also a thing of adi-archives far predating the 2000s… People give YZY by adidas brand way too much credit. The upper of the RYAT nods to many adi-EQT hiking/trail shoes and boots. Anyway, this contemporary silhouette consistently creeps nto my mind as something I want in my rotation. I have not given to the temptation instead adding the more obviously adi-archives derived Retropy E5. Retropy E5 is the new Iniki. NMD_S1 is the new OG UB x OG NMD. The limited numbers on the S1 is smart. adidas wants them remain relevant until ready to move on. It may be a while. ✌🏽💙👟
If they're so good, gift me one! Hahahaha jk, these always looked amazing to me and it's great to confirm that thought. Gonna try to grab one once I can/they get cheaper!
Bought the white ones 2day. I bought the black pair & the craftsmanship sucks. U can see the glue around the whole sneaker between the sole and the prime knit. Other than that these may be the most comfy kicks I ever had. Runs big go a hlf size down but if you have wide feet stick to your size
They are really bulky and look and feel like bricks on your feet. I prefer more streamlined slim sillouettes like the vapormax or even the ultra boost. They are comfy but def not the most comfortable shoes. He’s hyping these up. They aren’t bad but nothing crazy. The Nike invincible runs are more comfortable. I also actually prefer ultra boosts than these. These are super narrow and I don’t have wide feet and they hurt my feet after wearing them for awhile yet the toe box still has a good amount of room. It’s weird sizing for my feet and others I’ve heard and read have had the same issue
Did u buy the S1 through to size? Does the narrow heel area bother you?

I would say so, yes!
@@theshoemmelier pssh

Nothing could beat the eqt 91/18 in my opinion. Those were something special
