I have the ozweegos and Yzy500. The only difference between them is that ozweego is more comfortable with the adiprene+ at the toes, but yzy 500 is lighter. Both are great walking shoes though
I entered a raffle for a pair for the Adilette 22 slides in the magic line/ sand color way and End. Clothing charged me $75.59 for those slides when I won! That’s including shipping and taxes but still that was a lot because I bought a second pair in the Carbon color way here in the US and it was definitely cheaper.
For the slides it's the angle. The side on angle that is often shown don't look that similar but when you see them top down they are more or less the exact same shape as the yzy slides
The Oznova’s are the cleanest alternative on here to me, originally saw them a few weeks ago too and didn’t really think of Yeezy’s right away. They’re nice.
For real I even played a couple basketball games in them it’s very springy and the grip is crazy though it’s better as a pair shoes if you’re going to the courts to play soccer.

Adidas have always had that rectangular shape for slides. If anything Kanye copied Adidas but the other shoes are definitely inspired by Ye. I'm definitely buying a pair of whites Adifom SLTN once the all white is available in the US. Looks great👍

Ye didn’t fully design his sneakers. A team did. There are also a bunch of teams coming up with engineering solutions to make Ye’s designs real. Is adidas wrong for using the investments in technology and creating GRs? Yeezys don’t hold their company up. It’s similar to how tech trickles down from Lamborghini to Audi’s.

I love my ozelias. They are definitely comfortable but I would not say they look like yeezys more than I would say yeezys look more like the shoes that inspired the ozelia... I tried the 700v3 and to get the comfort I get from the ozelia I had to go a whole size up which made my feet look stupid in them. They were too narrow, where as the ozelia has a wider foot and toe bed. The only thing that can constitute a similarity is the colorway layout.
They took the Yeezy's and made them less weird looking. Anyway, I don't know about what's in their contract. But usually, when companies acquire another company, the former takes the tech of the latter and apply them on their products. Take Geely taking Volvo tech and putting them on Geely cars for example. Kanye and Adidas is obviously not an Acquisition but a collaboration. But if there's something written in their contract that allows Adidas to take some of the design aspects of Kanye's Yeezy's to their own shoes, then they can do so.

Addidas had always been one my favorite brand to wear even as a kid. I do feel your argument is a little bias because if you look at Addidas catalogs they always make shoes that have these futuristic looks for example the crazy 8, the Kobes 2 that thing looks like a space ship and Tmac just ro name of few. Being in the marketing business myself I always feel like Kanye was made for Addidas and Addidas for Kanye. No brand would never let a designer misrepresents them. In that sense Kanye feels that he is bigger than Addidas ( and he has the right to feel that way) but Addidas will never let that happen. The adilette 22 slides have their own unique style to them that I like better than yeezy slides, foam slides have been made by crocs way before yeezy tried to pretend like he invented them. The non yeezy versions are great for people that actual want to buy a sneaker cheaply for retail. Before whining; Kanye should make yeezys readily available instead of releasing small batches to keep the hype with artificial scarcity. It's crazy that counterfeiters have more stock of yeezy's than the official stores.

These are some of the ugliest shoes i´ve ever seen. Both the Yeezy and the Adidas variants. I love my ozelias. They are definitely comfortable but I would not say they look like yeezys more than I would say yeezys look more like the shoes that inspired the ozelia... I tried the 700v3 and to get the comfort I get from the ozelia I had to go a whole size up which made my feet look stupid in them. They were too narrow, where as the ozelia has a wider foot and toe bed. The only thing that can constitute a similarity is the colorway layout.

Anyway, I don't know about what's in their contract. But usually, when companies acquire another company, the former takes the tech of the latter and apply them on their products. Take Geely taking Volvo tech and putting them on Geely cars for example.
Kanye and Adidas is obviously not an Acquisition but a collaboration. But if there's something written in their contract that allows Adidas to take some of the design aspects of Kanye's Yeezy's to their own shoes, then they can do so.
The sole of Yeezy 500 is the same design as the old KB8 III so I think Adidas Still owns part of the Concept.

Addidas had always been one my favorite brand to wear even as a kid. I do feel your argument is a little bias because if you look at Addidas catalogs they always make shoes that have these futuristic looks for example the crazy 8, the Kobes 2 that thing looks like a space ship and Tmac just ro name of few. Being in the marketing business myself I always feel like Kanye was made for Addidas and Addidas for Kanye. No brand would never let a designer misrepresents them. In that sense Kanye feels that he is bigger than Addidas ( and he has the right to feel that way) but Addidas will never let that happen. Ppl forgets that addidas is one of the few brands that let you design your shoes from scratch. I can see the similarities with the shoes you mention in the videos and honestly I like both parties Ye and Addidas. Keep up the good work👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾!!

Kanye stole all kobe tech and design. I'm waiting forever for a eqt kb8 3 to get retroed since it was my favorite shoe when I was a kid, but that will never happen because Kanye has that design in his pocket. Yes he put his own touch in the design but doesn't change the fact what designs he took to improve on. Btw the 500s are a copy of the eqt kb8 3's only in my opinion uglier.
The adilette 22 slides have their own unique style to them that I like better than yeezy slides, foam slides have been made by crocs way before yeezy tried to pretend like he invented them.
The non yeezy versions are great for people that actual want to buy a sneaker cheaply for retail. Before whining; Kanye should make yeezys readily available instead of releasing small batches to keep the hype with artificial scarcity. It's crazy that counterfeiters have more stock of yeezy's than the official stores.

These are some of the ugliest shoes i´ve ever seen. Both the Yeezy and the Adidas variants. I can appreciate Kanye pushing the boundaries of design, but i can´t see myself wearing any of these, except maybe the slides.
