After a long extensive search for the right exhaust for my Ecoboost, it is beyond words how explain how this sounds. I just had it installed and I drove it home and I can't believe how nice it sounds! It has a a deep smooth sound, can't wait to get on the highway in the morning and listen to it all the way to work!! With a smile! Fantastic👍👍👍
@@KhinNinson Absolutely, it's definitely quality in many ways! Very little drone, sounds great when you get on it! Seems like the car really woke up. Don't listen to people when they say don't change exhaust on the Ecoboost because they say it sounds bad! The sound on audio definitely does not do it justice!
hi, quick “dumb” question, will the active exhaust system can still be used if you installed this exhaust, for example like the quiet mode, normal mode, etc im still new with this replacing exhaust systems, i want to change my exhaust but don’t want to remove the active exhaust system cause i don’t want to disturb neighbors when i returned home

First thanks +CJ Pony Parts for the video we all wanted I think for a better tone the MagnaFlow competition exhaust kit is better than the street exhaust kit maybe that extra loud noise from the competition exhaust is needed for the ecoboost to make it sound more deeper atleast a v6 engine I know u can't make a 4 banger sound like an v8 but we can make it better than stock what do u think peeps??
Feedback from my installation: First let me note, I own a 2016 ecboost convertible. If you have a convertible, it is a must to have a metal cutting tool to cutoff the factory exhaust. This is due to the structural bracing, which the exhaust goes through. Also, due to the structural brace, you will need to adjust, and readjust a few times and absolutely make sure the new exhaust is not touching the brace. If not, you will experience a lot of vibration and noise. I will say, I am extremely satisfied with the MF competition, sounds awesome!

This is amazing! I've been looking for that Deep Rich most V8 sounding one and so far this is the one like you said! What about if you put competition series on it!? Will you get more deep growl or you simply can't put it on the ecoboost!? Thanks
They do make a competition series catback for the EB but we have not installed that system yet. Based on other Magnaflow exhaust systems I would expect the same tone but an overall louder sound.

I was hoping the tone be a lil deeper with competition, I'm about 80% sure I'm getting a Mustang EB and if that's the case I'm def getting either Magnaflow Competition or Street Catback. Is it possible to buy just the mufflers for this system? I have the Magnaflow Comp system on my EB and it's pretty brutal. Would be great if I can swap out the mufflers for the Street ones
this would be an amazing product....its just that sound attached to a mustang is something ppl can't accept and I can def understand why....but the ecoboost mustang is an amazing car never the less

Hi I just bought a 2016 mustang ecoboost, can you tell me if the mangaflow street cat back has any droning at any speed inside the car. and would say it is as loud a the corsa touring or sport model?
Honestly regret buying the competition instead of the street. In my 2018 convertible EcoBoost, the drone is unbearable whether on the high way or even going through the gears. Sadly I will be selling my competition and would like to hear other convertible owners on their experiences with the street.
The Mustang may not be exactly the premium quality vehicle although it is meant to be more of a stylish leisure car you have fun with rather than one you own for work or practical purposes although they can be interesting to rent and drive - give it a go one day
Obviously you're not a mustang fan but rather a 13 yr old virgin who gets bullied in school because you'd know Ford had this engine before in the classic svo

Did you ever put an upgraded turbo in the ecoboost mustang? The Steeda website for it says you can get up to 520 hp with the turbo upgrade/tune.

You must take off the bracket...no cutting. I literally just installed the competition on my 2018 convertible.

I have only heard the FRPP Sport on the EB. The Magnaflow has a deeper tone than the Ford Racing.

Feier Feng I have not installed either of those on the EB so I can't say, check out the MRT exhaust if you want loud

There is no drone at all with the Magnaflow street, I haven't heard the Corsa on the EB so I cannot comment.

The axle back systems will fit the V6 and the Eco, the cat back is unique.
